Don't forget Kerr's injury last fall. He has had to spend half of the time between then and now recovering, so Hocker was just lucky it was a rust buster for Kerr. Kerr will literally blow Hocker's doors off the next time they race.
Where does Kerr rank compared to Bekele?
Ha. Kerr doesn’t belong in the same sentence as the great one.
The only ones that count are the last races of the season (caveat: not 5th ave mile last ones).
Hocker has lost every 1500/Mile race he has entered since Paris 2024, including all of 2025. Snowflakes is right that arrogance is not a privilege for him.
Firstly you are wrong. Cole won his first heat in Tokyo before being DQd in the semis. So he has won a 1500m race since Paris.
Secondly, even if your first point was true, so what? His wins at distances over a mile don’t count? Why? Maybe he is more of a 3k/5k who just did really well at 1500 for a while. After all he’s only a 1:45 800 guy. Why does the fact that he wins distances other than 1500m make him a failure to you?
Thirdly, what is it with your animus against Hocker? Is it jealousy?
Made a sleep sign after finishing ahead of Kerr, is this bad for the sport?
His post race interview with JG was more arrogant, saying he is fit enough to run close to the mile WR. I'm always suspect of people who talk about WR shape. The only people who break WR's are those who just come out and get the job done, like Hoey, Jakob, SML, Kipyegon.
Three out of four of those people publicized their record attempts before breaking them. The exception is Sydney who broke her WR at the Olympics. And did we watch the same interview? He said that 3:47 would have been reachable but that 3:45 is a bit out of reach at the moment. That sounds like humility instead of arrogance.
I know it's really not the point and this is reductive and pedantic but that would mean about 3 hundredths of one person knows about Cole Hocker
Whoops! Sorry, added a few too many zeros. How does .00001% sound?
That comes to 3,420 people in the US. I would say far more Americans know who Cole Hocker is than that. It is a good thing you are not a professional statistician.

Heats don’t count.
The 1500m is his main event (self-stated)
My animus is his arrogance after being an afterthought in his main event for now 1.5 years and counting. We need to hold him accountable.
Ha. Kerr doesn’t belong in the same sentence as the great one.
Kerr has Bekele soundly beat in categories like Oakley sponsorships, amount of jewelry owned, Cybertruck rentals, 1500m world titles, and Scottish accents.
Bekele has Kerr beat in almost every other category related to long distance track and cross country running, also ownership of luxury hotels in Addis Ababa.
I’m sure Kerr respects him as a competitor, but considering Cole’s dorkiness/demeanor, it’s probably hard to take him seriously off the track. His finish line theatrics do nothing to improve his image, but it seems to appeal to the high school crowd.
