New Mexico has six of their top seven on the men's side as Africans and the women have five African's and two Brits. Doesn't even attempt to recruit good American kids.
There's no way you could possibly know that, you're making an ignorant assumption.

2 out of 13 from the US. I think you'll find this is very common at almost all D1 and D2 universities in the US.
This is because tennis is a niche sport in the USA as in almost no one plays it. Tennis is dying on the vine. Meanwhile, XC has enormous high school participation and plenty of top talent that could be developed. All of this exposes the "win at all costs" mentality that permeates American society. But, what exactly are we winning at?
I agree it's ironic but many of these people aren't college age, don't meet NCAA eligibility requirements(contracts and prize money before college) and are serving doping suspensions.

You mean buying 25,26 year old Africans doesn’t mean he can coach.
By mostly recruiting African athletes instead of actually developing their own talent are embarrassing to the sport. It reduces coaching to nothing more than buying wins, while real coaching is about teaching, developing, and elevating the athletes you already have. Programs that succeed only by importing talent, without building culture or growth, send the message that they can’t actually coach and that hurts the integrity of the sport.
All coaches recruit talent; the coaches you denigrate, get paid to win. My question is what do these East African athletes study besides running?
Why don't you guys ever focus your rage on Providence, which has had an all foreign top seven on the women's side for years?
I've always felt like that's because they "blend in" more - if half a team's last names begin with "Kip" it's obvious that half their team is Kenyan. Not so much if it's "generic" - if they have common names. For that matter, the same holds for Caribbean sprinters
The runners at Providence don't look like they are pushing 30 while competing as a colligate athletes.
