Speech which clearly violated FCC regulations and was a persistent and constant feature of the show.

ABC didnt fire the dumb b*stard because they government forced them they fired the dumb b*stard because the FCC was correct and they knew Kimmel's hateful partisan rhetoric was losing them money.

Why the hell would any company keep a show on that loses them 10s of millions of dollars every year??

All you need to do to succeed on Late Night TV is not be an insufferable jerk and Colbert and Kimmel just couldn't do it.

But I don't get how people think this Kimmel case is the right cracking down on speech. Fox News lost hundreds of millions in the Dominion voting case. If you report fake news, it can cost you a ton of money. Jimmy Kimmel falsely said the assasin (or implied) was MAGA which is the opposite of the truth.
I'm not sure how this lie would cause Disney to lose hundreds of millions in a lawsuit as what the financial damages (Dominions reputation was hurt and they are a business) but you never know with a jury and the Kimmel show is probably already losing a ton of money for them so they are using this as an excuse to get rid of the show (Wasn't Colbert just cancelled for financial reasons?).
Can you give me other examples of the right cancelling speech?

This case is a little different than Dominion. Dominion isn't a gov't, but their business was wrecked by slander that Fox reported as "news". They sued and won.

The FCC doesn't regulate cable television or the Democrats 100% would have weaponized it against the network.

Multiple Democrats including Obama said Fox shouldn't be on the air. Obama even jailed multiple journalists....

That should be Trumps prerogative - he is the President, so his word is law. Anyone who criticizes him, his administration or friends (Kirk) should be sanctioned in the strongest possible way. Call it "Cancel culture" if you want to be obtuse, but it is just common sense. Either you fully commit to Trump or you really are a traitor to him - and HE is America. What is best for him is what is best for America. I don't feel sorry for any of these transgressors, if it were up to me I would just kill them all.
