That's what I think is the order on paper for Sectional #4. It's tough because Madison West could realistically put five under 17 and Middleton four. Big performances from either senior-backed squads could reshape the results on instant especially if things go wrong for one of the favored teams. Therefore, I think at least one of the two traditional programs, West or Middleton will qualify (current nod to West).
For reference, your picks in Sectional #6 areMadison La Follette and Craig who were #6 and #7 at Big Eights last week.
Last year was the first time in a very long time that Middleton missed out on the state meet. In fact, they didn’t qualify any individuals.
The problem they’ve been facing lately is that they don’t have a front runner like they’ve had in the past.

Nah, they had this problem back in 2019, but they packed it in and won state that year. Last year their pack was a bit behind, but it looks like they've developed now. Right now they have four very solid runners and one not too far behind -- if they play their cards right they can advance. When looking at the times, keep in mind Big 8 Conference's course was quite hilly this year.

Sectional 2, can probably add Hortonville and Marshfield to the mix.
Neenah always seems to perform well at sections. Wouldn’t be surprised if they qualify again
Shorewood with a 16:39 average

Madison West was so many points behind second at the first 2 miles (in fact they were in 4th place), and ended up finishing strong and getting a state berth.
Section 6: LaFollette wins the section after not qualifying last year and being moved to an easier section.
Section 7: Tally is back racing and wins.
Marquette and Homestead qualify as expected and both teams put 5 in the top 20. These 2 teams got about half the score of the 3rd place team.
At Section 8, Oconomowoc wins by a lot as expected, but the battle for second place was something else. Brookfield Central takes second with 102 points. West Allis Hale 103, Hamilton 106, Arrowhead 115.
Section 9: Tosa East qualifies for the first time since the Matthai twins were on the team.
Section 10: Muskego and Oak Creek tied for first, with Muskego winning the tiebreaker
