Umm.....it's my understanding that announcements are being made on Wednesday, and not in NYC. Which does not mean that NYC will not be picked for one of the two Trials. My guess is that it will.
And that guy who suggested that the Marathon Trials be held at the same time as the rest of the Track & Field Trials ... you're kidding, right? I mean, you DO realize why that's a bad idea, do you not?
NYRR is holding press conf Monday w/ Deena K. for "special announcement," basically that she's running NYCM this Nov.
There is supposed to be some announcement this week about the Trials, however nothing official yet.
If they are planning an anouncement this week at nationals and their is a press conference for other reasons on Moday, then Mary will blab the Oly announcement early. Jim, give us the report on Monday night.
