Is this guy lying about his times?

If you analyze the Strava file from the 5k it is clear he didn't run the time. It looks to be about 14:40 at best if you click "analyze" and highlight the actual course part of the full file. So ... I think there was a timing error from the race organizers. He would have definitely known he didn't run that time but he went ahead and claimed it on Strava which is sketchy.

Oh my god, I met this guy in Flagstaff a few years ago. I met him on a bagel run and he gave his real name and everything.

But then about a week later I saw him again out at Lake Mary and he must have forgotten about meeting me, because he introduced himself to my teammates saying he was a high schooler from Boulder or an NAU commit or something? I can't remember exactly what he told us but it did not line up at all with what he had told me a week before.

Definitely a compulsive liar or something. His Strava has always irked me

that is insane and creepy lmao. dude is making up stories about his own identity and background wow. he definitely has some type of mental disorder or behavioral/personality issue. thats wild. his youtube videos are like seeing into the mind of a deranged person.

i really cannot believe this kid is wealthy, he seems like a lying nutjob. but he seemingly has no real job and is a grown adult so i dont even know how he's existing and living. maybe he has zero expenses in life though

he seems to be friends with and trains with Aidan McCarthy (Cal Poly) - he's in a bunch of his videos - Aidan is a legit runner with pro aspirations. I wonder if Aidan knows about this guys reputation. hope it doesn't come back to hurt him.

A year or two ago he went through this phase on Strava where he was posting pictures with stacks of cash, which apparently he earned from running Airbnbs? Not sure where he would have gotten the capital to buy properties for that in the first place though.

theres no greater indicator you're a desperate low-self esteem loser than posting photos of cash on your social media pages to impress people. it also makes you a target for criminals, and considering this guy has a YouTube page he's very easy to find. just a matter of time.

that is so pathetic lmao...i hope all the kids this guy has 'coached' stop watching his youtube since they seemingly be the only ones who are tuning in to comment on his stuff...they seem to look up to him and keep gassing him up on his training, when he clearly has mental issues and exhibits poor behavior aside from the fact he may be running fast...
