WHY DO DIAMOND LEAGUE RESULTS PAGES SUCK IN COMPARISON TO HS DUAL MEETS ON ATHLETIC.NET??!?!?!?!?
Chebet leaving a trail of exhausted bodies lying on the track is so impressive. What a dominant performance!
I didn't even see Houliham at all. Go, Andrews!
That was like a "B" race for Chebet and she ran 14:03.
68 from 1200 to 800 did her in.
I agree with announcers. If she had just pushed more gradually she would have broken it.
14:25.37 for Josette!

Shelby result pops in at 14:45...womp womp.

No, gave herself too much work to do for sub-14. She will do it soon enough though.
I think she didn't quite have it today. Back-to-back 68s. Roads with a male pacer are gonna be a bit faster.
She probably has it
but when tsegay broke the WR they went through 3k in 8.26
Kipyegon went through in 8.31 for her 14.05WR
today they did 8.31/2 for 14.03
ok stop it with the #2 all time performers not even slightly tired
everyone else collapsed on the track, and the winner fresh as a daisy going around shaking their hands
Norris No.2 American all time behind her teammate Monson

Ritz is delusional or Josette is doping. 14:20 is ridiculous 😂.
Jealous?
14:25.37, US #3 all-time for Andrews!
Looks like she's back and means business!

Karissa only 14:56.38 and it's pretty rough but true that she lost to the pacer Akidor who I assumed had dropped out. Rarely see that.

all too impressive, and all too common

I don’t know, man. 14:03.69 with the last 2k in 5:31.49 (13:48.73 pace) and the last 400 in 61.88. I think it’s likely she was capable of sub-14 today, though it may have required a scenario like Kipyegon in 2023 where she was racing Gidey in the last lap.
Awesome results for Josette!
Now the question is will she fall victim to the worlds\olympics burn out that has claimed a lot of Ritz athletes after an great spring season

I suspect they’ll only let her do the 10k as defending champ
the ethiopian federation is petty AF
