The extra 3000 miles McLaughlin traveled to get to her meets equates to around just 5 hours of flying, depending on the aircraft speed.
If you want to tell me that's significant across the season, then go ahead, but I will laugh at you.
And if you want to be picky, for those extra 6 meets Bol has done, there's the additional check-in times, passport control, traveling to hotels etc. to be added on, not just the airplane time. This easily equates to way more than 5 hours. So let's get silly about it.
The fact remains, Bol travels more & competes more, every season. She next competes at Zurich before training camp for Tokyo. I'm guessing no more meetings now for McLaughlin until Tokyo, meaning nothing in the last 3 weeks since Trials & the next 23 days until Tokyo. Meaning no meets in 6 weeks.
I guess Kersee's gotta do what he does best, and get his prime athlete cycle on point.
