Why can’t the rest of the world shut off the light on the US and just call it a day
The US is only 340 million people out of 8 billion world population.
All countries could simply ban Americans from entering their country
Impose 100% tariff on their products
…and impose a 100% export tariff on goods sent to the U.S.
Ban US electronic services such as Google, Netflix, Amazon, X, Facebook…
Move to the Euro as the world currency (instead of the US)
…and simply be done with it.
Less drama…

Man, I heard kids in public schools were peeing in litter boxes, and that was just all I could think about all day every day. I knew Trump would put a stop to that. Now that we've canceled woke, I feel so relieved (NOT in a litter box!) And if I have to work a few more years into my 70s, so be it. My arthritis is getting pretty bad and one of my daughters stopped talking to me, but at least all the kids are peeing in toilets. That was my #1 priority this election.

Of course. Containers sailing to the US since yesterday, will be hit with a 10% tariff. The containers which will sail on Wednesday (and beyond) will be hit with the new tariff structure. Meaning that in less than 20 days, the first containers (with extra tariff) will start arriving in the US. Expect a bunch of abandoned containers starting to pile up in the US. Some importing companies will simply not have the $ to clear these containers. Then demurrage starts (and that costs cost through the roof very fast). Then companies start going bankrupt, which creates a domino effect. Some companies may have receivables from these bankrupt companies and then go bankrupt themselves. Some companies will not get key parts needed to complete projects and go bankrupt as a result…

Ok, sounds good, it’s funny, we are thinking of increasing our Renminbi reserves. We won’t really have any use for that US$ thing in one month anyway

Oh yes, we also came up with an easy solution to replace SWIFT and Fedwire. Thinking of not letting the US participate in it (because they won’t really need it, will they). You may be interested.
