This entire post was meant to hightlight Tuohy’s 2025 pro debut. Not other things.
And, guess who just won her first professional race?
Katelyn Tuohy.
I thought she won a 5000 last summer?
Yup! She raced a few times last year. Tuohy fans like to delude themselves. It’s a coping mechanism because the reality that she hasn’t gotten better than she was in college is too difficult for them to bear. Anyone who points out this objective truth gets downvoted by her delusional fans.

Blocking him does nothing to stop him from hypocritically slandering (casting aspersions) on any athlete, certain ones in particular (not including Wiley), that are faster than the subject of this thread.
Nah. There’s nothing exciting about a PROFESSIONAL running slower than she did in college. I get she was injured last year but she’s had all fall and all winter up to now to train professionally. No more excuses for running slower than she did in college.
Progress isn’t always linear, Sparky.
Tell me you know nothing about the sport without telling me you know nothing about the sport.

Personally, I don’t care whether she’s better or not yet.
A good result after coming off of injury is a good result. And her first professional win
Did I see 1/2 the women (including Touhy) run a 2 turn stagger?? According to the results, it was only supposed to be 1 turn. The pro men ran 1 turn stagger. If so, then Touhy and a bunch of the women ran extra distance.
It was a 2-turn stagger. No cone at the beginning of back stretch but there was one where they cut in.
Tuohy could have been DQed for stepping on the line on the second turn. It looked like at least two steps on the line.
Yes I saw the cone but my point is that the cone was in the wrong place and should have been at the end of the 1st turn (the same as the men). The results say it was supposed to only be a 1 turn stagger.
I first noticed it while watching the men’s race later and thought (incorrectly) that half the field would be DQ’ed for cutting in after only 1 turn. But they’re the ones who actually ran the race correctly.

why do you care who he is slandering if you dont have to see it? He's just trolling for attention and people like you love nothing more than showering him with it.

Cheering for her.
How long are you going to use the “coming off of injury” excuse? She ran 15:07 last July. That was SIX MONTHS AGO!

The starts (the outside stagger) for the M and W were different!

Thus far she hasn’t made ANY progress in two years. I know that.
The rose colored sunglasses version would be is she (Tuohy) is training with Henes I believe and neither really looked like they had done much speed work, which would make sense if they are training more for a summer 5000.

Why would they have different start lines for men's and women's races of the same distance only a few minutes apart? Something doesn't add up because the Armory's results page says that both races were supposed to be a one turn stagger.
