Summer Wilson ran a 10:03 2 mile and smoked the whole field. Extremely impressive!
She sure did.
Sydney Rubio looked good in 2nd. She looked fitter than last year. It looks like she worked on her form. She didn't look as bouncy as last year. Hopefully she can have the success she had as a freshman.
J serra’s team worsened after she left and it was a huge loss for them. As an individual, Summer smashed every single runner on their team every single time she raced them.
Yeah, I bet those JSerra girls were really missing her on their flight to NXN especially only being three seconds faster than their top runner. Dude, you can prop her up on the soapbox but don't be critical to a program that is successful.

I think she performed well throughout the season, but it's not a certainty she would've been their #1 or even #2 runner had she stayed at JSerra.
It is clearly evident that she would have been JSerra's top runner. Just look at the results... On every occasion she raced them she consistently beat them by a large margin. At the Orange County Championship, Summer finished 1st with a 16:22. The first JSerra runner was 17:34 (more than a minute behind and that was their top girl). At the Clovis Invitational at Woodward Park, Summer finished 3rd with a 17:08 and the first JSerra athlete was 16th place with 17:50. The times don't lie. Nobody is insulting the JSerra program, but it is clear that Summer is at a different level compared to their runners. I mean...... She just ran 10:03 for two miles for God's sake
St Francis (Sacramento) was at Lagoon Valley and totally dominated both freshman and varsity races with five runners in the top 11 for each division. Word is they’ll be tough to beat this year.
