Gaetz will be the next President, assuming that Trump isn't crowned king in the meantime (what I would prefer). Gaetz and MTG would be a great ticket. Don't see Democrats getting back into power in my lifetime. GOP will only get stronger - won't even need an election within a decade as the Democrats will be wiped out.
Seattle isn't what it used to be (to be honest, many places are like that). It is a combination of liberal policies and that people that move here. There is now some movement back towards the center (the new mayor was the most moderate of the Democratic candidates), but it has a long way to go. The only defense of current Seattle I'll offer is that the stuff that gets the most negative press is confined to a fairly small part of the Seattle land mass.
I can't respond to a general claim of ethical breaches, but the Jan 6 Committee report and evidence is here:
I am not going to get in a back and forth on the sources you quoted, but they are mouthpieces for the Democratic Party, and if I wanted to take the time I could refute. The people of Wyoming rejected Cheney 67-33%. It is a change to have Democrats siding eith the war monger Cheney that is directly responsible for the deaths of a million Arabs.
There is no need to go back and forth on the Committee Report. The evidence is presented, aside from the portion covered by the exclusion of certain information regarding the Pentagon, and has not been rebutted by the GOP. Just as with the reference to Seattle politics, Cheney's stance on the Iraq War is completely irrelevant to the January 6 report. If past bad acting negated all future acts, then Trump should be completely pushed to the corner. His entire adult life is replete with bad actions.

It's weird how sentences so APPARENTLY different can mean the exact same thing. Like the one highlighted above, and, "The Republicans of Wyoming obediently suc*** Donny's d***, AND swallowed."

And you eat at the Admiral Rachel Levine Y. Daily, I might add.
Meanwhile:
“The now-defunct House Select Committee on Jan. 6 destroyed more than 100 encrypted files from its 2021 investigation before Republicans took over the chamber, House investigators say.
Rep. Barry Loudermilk, the Georgia Republican leading the House Administration Committee’s oversight investigation, said his computer forensic investigators discovered 117 files deleted by the Jan. 6 committee.
He is demanding former leaders of the Jan. 6 committee hand over passwords to the encrypted files.”
I view this differently. The Democrats made an error engaging in lawfare. It is time to end it. Gaetz's appointment will not accomplish this objective. In that sense he is not a good choice.
You have to remember. Trump does not need his administration, the economy nor the legal system to function properly.
Trump will be conducting a going out of business sale with the country and this works best with chaos and anarchy. Dictators love collapse. Including currency collapse.
Trump is accountable to no one. He doesn’t need anyone’s approval anymore. Even his voters.
Thank you for the anti-Trump fanfiction, I'm going to jerk off to this now.
Meanwhile the charges against Gaetz were entirely made up by a corrupt DoJ and the Democrats in California are literally passing laws making it easier to be a pedophile.
Oh sorry, the preferred term in your circles is "minor attracted person".

Of course, time to end it after eight years of mischief. Hello no, prosecute the guilty.
“Every swamp rat crying about Gaetz didn’t lift a finger while DOJ was running illegal coup after illegal coup against our elected government from 2016-2020. They didn’t say a word when DOJ illegally seized the phones of Rep. Scott Perry or Rep. Andy Ogles.
They were quiet as a church mouse when DOJ illegally spied on Trump. They were nowhere to be found when DOJ hatched and ran the entire fake kidnapping plot against Gretchen Whitmer. They did nothing when DOJ allowed violent threats against Supreme Court justices to continue.
And don’t even get me started on their paralysis regarding the insane DOJ J6 op. So to everyone in Washington crying about Matt Gaetz: you are the reason he is necessary. Understand that it is happening because of your own fecklessness, or complicity.
You did nothing while the infection festered and the cancer spread at DOJ. You looked the other way as it nearly destroyed the country. And now you wonder why emergency medicine is necessary?”

J6 was a beautiful day, more like a tour of the Capitol.
