Gaetz will be the next President, assuming that Trump isn't crowned king in the meantime (what I would prefer). Gaetz and MTG would be a great ticket. Don't see Democrats getting back into power in my lifetime. GOP will only get stronger - won't even need an election within a decade as the Democrats will be wiped out.

If past bad acting negated all future acts, then Trump should be completely pushed to the corner. His entire adult life is replete with bad actions.

I view this differently. The Democrats made an error engaging in lawfare. It is time to end it. Gaetz's appointment will not accomplish this objective. In that sense he is not a good choice.
