Obviously, these guys like all the clicks with controversy. They let the inane, repetitive babling jabs of Armstronglivs go on and on and on (>30000 posts now). It gets very tiresome to board readers.
There was a rumor floated that citiusmag was going to have an online forum. If it ends up crushing this forum, the Armstringlivs troll might heavily factor into that.

Whether or not you support deleting more or fewer threads... I can support consolidating umpteen threads made in 2 hours about the same topic (which IMO seems a bigger problem on LR than whether or not a thread topic should be started)... into just one original thread. I don't know how tough or do-able this is, but it'd be nice to see that on a regular basis instead of just nuking all the threads on the same topic.

It wasn't the thread that was deleted. The first response by "i agree" was deleted (when I looked whether my response showed up).
There is nothing unusual about this performance for her. It is right in line with the rest of her performances. I am not saying she is clean, but this 1000m should not be the basis of your allegations. It is about what one would expect for her.
And clean is faster than a doper on Letsrun. But only on Letsrun. On the track it's different.
You make no sense. Please get an education in some sort of logical reasoning before your next post.
Not saying she's clean, but I don't think she's much more likely to be doping than anyone else running her times.

I certainly hope she is clean but given her associations, I'd say the odds of her not being clean are way higher than for some random runner. I would say the same thing about anyone who ever trained with the NOP as well or anyone who has ever received a massage from a coach who is in possession of testosterone which is the case with both Alberto Salazar and Nick Johnson.
Let me be clear. For the record, so we can avoid a lawsuit, I'm not saying I think she's on drugs. She's never failed a drug test and deserves the presumption of innocence but to think she's just as likely to never have been given an illegal substance as any other runner is absurd to me given her close ties to Nick Johnson whom we know had prescriptions for PEDs.

And what does "being clean" mean anyway? It appears that you can be clean now but still benefit greatly from past doping. I think the thing people don't get it is if you dope with steroids - it appears it can impact you for the rest of your career. It's never made sense to me that someone like Justin Gatlin could get popped, then come back and run just as fast a decade later while passing all the tests. Until I realized that there is a belief that your muscles remember what it was like to be on roids. That's why I believe in lifetime bans for doping.
WADA has studies on this in the past and appears to be doing another one right now.

If someone wants to post they find it odd that someone who couldn't even make an Olympic team is now suddenly running American records, they are allowed to do that.
Maybe in the future, we'll have a "Official is an Addy Wiley a doper thread?" but right now it's fair game to talk about it here and in the other thread.

Mods, please stop deleting posts in this thread. There is always a concentrated effort to abuse our automatic deletion system in threads regarding Wiley and it has pissed me off and made me want to allow more discussion on this matter than normal.
When you employ a mod who has been defending dopers for years, and who himself has stated clearly that he would dope if he was an elite athlete, then it shouldn't surprise you that doping posts and threads keep getting deleted.
