My nephew is running, but as he's 6.6 and around 250 pounds (2.04/115kg), it will be a tough day. He's aiming for 4:30.
They're not showing the lead men's race, but flitting between wheelchair, showing the masses, and interviewing Anthony Joshua, British heavyweight boxer.
What British Runner is going for Farah's Record? Marc Scott ran a 27:10 for 10000 so I guess he could TRY for it, Emile Cairess has run 2:08.07 and is running well, I think both are Capable of dipping under 2:07 if EVERYTHING goes right for them, but 2:05.10 seems unreal, I mean If they are going for it, Their Ambition is admirable, and I hope they prove me wrong and run it, I just don't see it, I see 2:06 mid to high as realistic but difficult, 2:05 low I would be shocked
Apparently Emile Cairess is going for it. We’ll see but hope he has a good race and secures his Olympic spot.
Pretty sure he has a spot? He is going for Mo Farahs record.
edit: I should learn to read before replying.
But I did actually Think he was faster than 2:08 and had a 100% spot.

Got my Answer Emile Cairess is on 2:04.44 pace WOW, still a long ways to go, but Cairess is going for Farah's Record and 5 Brits are on sub 2:07 pace, as I said still early.
Gobeina, Ethiopia, 19, former 50m Javelin thrower! In the lead pack, only been running for 2 years. Started with 400/800. Go where the money 💰 is ..He does look chunky physique compared to most other elites.
