The car crash scenes in Adaptation, starring Nicholas Cage.
In the first one, you don't see it coming....just *SMASH* - totally took me by surprise - Chris Cooper is driving the car that gets hit I believe.
The second one, with Cage being thrown through the window partially....also really got me jumpy.
Others:
The Sixth Sense - when the kid is looking into the camera, and in the background you see some ghost walking through the picture very briefly....always makes me jump.
Silence of the Lambs. The scene where the cops get into the room that Lecter has just escaped from and they see the horror that he's left (guy strung up, etc). Just epically creepy.
Basically all of texas chainsaw massacre freaks me out, but the scene that gets me most is probably either when the one dude is getting chased thru the yard and he finally gets his leg chopped off, or when him and jessica beil are in the basement and theres all sorts of body parts in jars. Added bonus, the guy is hanging on a meat hook.
When I was young the thing that freaked me out was when a kid would talk in the voice of a demon when possesed, like in the old Amityville movie.
And this one movie I cant remember the name of, about the Bermuda Triangle, in the final scene theres two people bobbing up and down in the sea and the one guys got this look on his face, with eyes bulging out, floating closer and closer to the other person, freaky!
If I saw it now tho I'd probably wonder why it freaked me out.
I refuse to watch the Exorcist by myself. I'm afraid of that movie. Most anything else I'm pretty much okay with.
The ENTIRE film, "FRAILTY." One of the greatest of all modern horror films.
Candyman was pretty good when I was about 13. I still think its okay. The main actress is pretty hot.
28 days later, pretty much the whole movie, but the two parts that freaked me out the most were when he touched the silver benz in the middle of the city (especially in the theater), and the part in the tunnel ( those f-ers are fast).
someone mentioned the 'closet' scene in the ring. I literally screamed like "HOLY F***ING SHIT" when I saw that (in the middle of a movie theater). I was so freaked out and pissed at the movie for doing that to me that I could hardly watch it from that point on.
oh yeah, and that new 'descent' movie looks pretty freaky.
Remember in Field of Dreams when Ray Kinsella was in his corn and all of a sudden this voice started talking to him? Where the hell did the voice come from? You can't explain that! Scary as hell!
I remember thinking I was a bad ass because The Ring did not scare me at all.
I was so lame.
As a kid (5 yr. old?) the first time I ever saw "A Christmas Carol" the ghost of Jacob Marley appears, frightening!

someone else on here mentioned the Grudge....me and my gf saw in the theaters waaay after it came out. We saw it like at midnight and were literally the ONLY people in the theater. The part where that crazy dead bitch gets that one girl from under the covers, scared the shit out of me. That's supposed to be your safe haven, that movie ruined that.
When Dorothy and crew finally get to meet the Wizard of Oz, but right before they lift the curtain. Man, that is some scary shit.
