Blind Willie Johnson bonafide classic
How could it take 5 pages to drop the mic?
Blind Willie Johnson had a few bonafide classics
Well this was an easy assignment
First recoded in 1941 by Delta legend Big Joe Williams, obviously it was John Lee Hooker who made it famous.
Robert Johnson classic, sorry Steve but nobody can really cover Robert Johnson. Cat had fingers that could reach places on a guitar neck nobody else could.

That is a great cover the thing is it''s been used too many times in other threads.
This is a great Jimi Hendrix cover.
And here's one of my current favorites.
Sonny Boy Williamson is the daddy of this, first recorded in 1938. Sonny Boy the best blues harmonica player pre Little Walter.
Sonny Boy was ice picked to death walking home after a gig, yep Chicago
Lightnin' Hopkins classic without that stunning harmonica
Robert Johnson hand, look at those fingers
Screamin' Jay Hawkins classic, now there was a strange cat.
Now sure cover actually fits. Ton Waits songs by John Hammond about a dozen of them.
Probably my favorite song by Sonic Youth.
