I wasn’t sure what to expect. She hadn’t been racing which didn’t concern me at all but I wasn’t sure what she would do at 1500m. I guess I expected anywhere from 4:00 to 4:10, and probably closer to 4:05, so I was pleasantly surprised with her 4:03, but not at all shocked by it due to her being the most talented female 800m runner in US history. She will win gold at 800m in Budapest and this doesn’t change that, it only reinforces it in my mind.

People keep bashing Bobby Kersee, but his resume is better than any coach that we have.
Bobby is a proven winner and so are his athletes. His resume doesn't lie.

I think she’ll end with 49.5, 1:54 and 3:57 when all is said and done. Don’t think she will run the 400 much and go lower than her college PB and don’t think she’ll get the WR or break 3:55 in the 1500. Which is still pretty damn good.

Kersee coached FloJo to possibly the dirtiest record on the books. If that is what counts as 'good', then yes I'll grant you that Kersee is 'good'. But spare me the carp about him coaching Mu to take a dirty record off the books pul-lease.

Well, off she goes scratching from 1500, just like I said she should. Downvoters devastated. Not a 1500 runner. Not at all.

We will see about that as I'm laying it on the line WITHIN the next 5 years from this date Athing will run sub 3:53 and be the American Record Holder in the 1500m. Yes she a 1500m runner as well and we still have a few dumb doubters!
