Look how many boys and the girls on the Riverton team who’s last name is Sharp. Erik - 12 Caleb - 11 Isaac - 9 Levi - 8 Andrea - 7 Hannah - 11 Kyle - 2023 grad Spencer - 2022 grad
American Fork, Harriman, Riverton, and Lone Peak's boys could all be top 10 nationally this year. Utahz loaded. Alta put there name in the hat as the best 5A team at premiere.

unfortunately most likely 1 of these teams will have to sit out because Colorado has Niwot. unless of course niwot is worse then all 4

Niwot is really strong and deep this year. But they won’t have any seniors on varsity this year; is that going to make their chances of going to NXN lower?
Orem UT and Valor Christian CO are other teams to watch out for. These teams didn’t do their best at NXR though.
Orem placed well at Woodbridge but did not do well at NXR. They didn’t lose many guys and are very senior-heavy this year. They return the following 5k times 15:15 15:48 16:12 16:48 16:43 (at NXR 2021) / 10:16 3200 All will be seniors
Valor Christian CO only lost 1 senior and has a really good #1 (Eike). They had the fastest average at the state meet last year
Mountain Vista CO always seems to peak during the postseason.
I thinks its safe to say that you will need to be at the levelz of the best teamz in Colarado history to qualify to NXNz this year.
don’t understimate Colorado they are historically better than Oregon and is one of the 4 best running states. They did have an off year last year. Oregon, Colorado, Utah, and California
Yeah the Valor XC team will have to get 5 guys to avg 15:30 in order to make NXN. Niwot will be behind Valor until next year because of Valor’s #1 (8:50 3200m and state champ in the 32). It will still take a few weeks to determine if Valor is up to par with Herriman so they can get 2nd or 3rd at NXR. Southwest is getting another 3rd place bid-in 100%. Wouldn’t be surprised if Riverton gets 3rd and Valor bombs out again, and Mtn Vista finishes as the top CO team at NXR.
2024 will be a better season for CO boys than 2023. Niwot is going to return everyone and Valor is only going to lose Eike (that’s a big loss btw). Mountain Vista has a good class of 2025 to develop. 2 of those guys are already very good - Anderson and Wachter. They were #2 and #3 on the team last year
Hmm, this forum says Utah xc predictions, not Colorado. Go make a Colorado xc predictions thread. Sorry, but I don't think us Utah teams want to hear about all these Colorado teams that aren't going to factor in the top 3. I know its between the 4 Utah teams and Colorado most likely won't contribute.
Riverton was missing senior Ludwig who was sometimes their #1 last year. Also Helm was their 7th guy (5th no senior) last year and #1 in the time trials but was missing from these results
