I am so sorry that you are suffering. Here is Bible verse from the New Testament book of Romans that has meant a great deal to me.
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.”
Romans 8:1-2 NIV
This, IMO, is one of the most beautiful responses in the thread. To find respite in the scripture.
I ran in college about 10 years ago and had a couple of teammates who were in varying stages of 'out'. Very few people cared even then. I will say that they seemed somewhat depressed before and happier after.
One more thing. If you're 100% sure about you're sexuality and if you know your family is supportive, you'll likely feel happier if you'd come out. For my teammates it seemed as if a weight was lifted off their back

Declining health? He's always looked like that. his problem just seems like a normal injury, not anything spiritual or metal
Does your college have someone / some group you can talk to?

title. i'm only 18, on my college's team, and running (and on occasion parties) is basically the only time i feel happy. i'm nothing special of a runner (not close to the NCAA meet at all) but have run in the upper 14s and really enjoy training. other than that though, i feel pretty depressed. i also think i'm bi and am not sure if i'll be accepted if i'm out
Repent and embrace God instead of Satan
Does anyone else tie their self worth into running, at least partially, and when you run like sh!t you feel depressed? I've been off/on injury cycles the past 5 months and haven't run well in indoor or early outdoor
"Depression" is a myth. People often feel sad. You get over it if you don't wallow in self pity
