Either one seems kind of stupid to me, but at least at the casino you COULD walk away with a pocket full of cash. Unlikely, but not impossible.

I know people who go to dumpy Louisiana casinos and spend all day with a $50 bucket of coins on the slot machines and various video games. My old boss would go to Vegas and buy $2,500.00 in chips for blackjack. He would gamble until he was either out of money or it was 8 am the next day. Free drinks and crappy food. He would usually be done in about 3-4 hours. Once he was up $35k and even had a manager switch out the dealer and let him know that card counting was illegal. But his hot streak ended and he only walked out with $4,500.00. Point is that there are a lot of ways to make $2k into a lot of adult entertainment for people who really don't have anything better to do. It is not like these folks can tell you the difference between Von Karajan and Szell's interpretation of Bruckner's 8th symphony or can ski black diamonds at Vail.
Disney for adults is pretty sad. My sister had her honeymoon at Disney and has been there as many times as after her kids were out of the house as when they were kids. If you have kids and they are into Disney, it is worth $2k. My kids never gave a crap about Disney. So we got to go to the beach, mountains, etc. and actually have fun instead of waiting in line half the day.
By the way, I play on gambling site from time to time.
It’s fascinating how people find value in such different experiences, isn’t it? For some, the thrill of a casino or the nostalgia of Disney is worth every penny, while others would rather chase powder on a mountain or soak up the sun on a beach. It’s all about what scratches that itch for entertainment or escape.
Why spend money one either when you can combine the 2K allotments to purchase the complete works of Augustine of Hippo???

You could leave Disney with a lightsaber.

As someone that has and does spend $2k easily on trips to Vegas:
a) My $2k gambling always net me comps (or contributes). Case in point:
5 night free offers at a 5-star hotel in a suite? No problem.
Casino host that texted me and set me up with perks: such as a $300 dinner, or last minute 4 nights free on a trip that ended up being 15 days (on top of the previous free 5 nights).
*Oh, and those 4-nights was during a very busy/expensive time of the year. Amazon conference, or something.
I'm also aware of the fact I'll probably lose all the money I gamble. But that's why I have a limit I set where I am completely comfortable with losing. I like gambling, it's fun.
No, you don’t receive perks like that for potentially losing $2K. They would have to build an additional hotel to house all the gamblers that lost that amount, or more, and their restaurant would need to be shut down.
High rollers do receive perks, but they also bet $1K per hand. Some lose so much money that a casino will send a private jet to bring them in.

Very odd.
I wouldn't spend a dollar on either one, but if I was forced to pick, I'd rather blow $2000 in a casino. At least I wouldn't have to put up with crowds, whining kids, hot weather, overpriced plastic junk, and endless lines to get on lame rides.
