Not bad. Your 200 time is a little soft.

I never lied about my times. I physically knocked out every time that's ever been noted for me.
I just did it with the assistance of EPO.
Lying is way worse than cheating!
I can tell that some people dont beleive me sometimes when I tell them my PR's. And it pisses me off when they find out its the truth and credit it to "talent". The only talent I have is my ambition to do what it takes. I didnt wake up one day and find that I can run a sub 16 5K. I had to work my ass off (literally) to get there.
To me, thats the worst lie - giving the credit to talent.

I don't think you meant to use "literally". That would be pretty weird to see.
Well, I have a little ass left, but my trainer chews at that.

Sounds like you and your trainer have a very 'speacial' relationship...
But yeah I totally ran like 3:43.14 for the mile.
I love those people who claim to hold a certain pace on their training runs and then their race times aren't up to it. One chick I know kept saying she usually ran her 18-milers at 7:30-7:45 and then she'd run 45-minute 10Ks and 3:30 marathons.
I can't get worked up about it, though. Some of you guys really have self esteem issues if you become angered by other people's lies.
Not to completely defend this chick, but I was rolling 7:38s for 22 miles in my last 'thon, then I slipped on a cup and fell and had to run/walk my way to a 3:31. Don't forget too that a lot of people dont run any harder for races than training runs.
its no different than telling fishing lies. no need getting pissy about it. they'll never stop.
I once caught a fish that I couldnt reel in. so I cut the line and tied it to a nearby tree. I then went to get the truck to pull him out and when I got back, the fish had pulled the tree into the water. sorry, no witnesses.

SOME DUDE I MET AT A X-MAS PARTY SAID HE RAN 2:10 FOR THE MARATHON AT NYC MARATHON THIS PAST YEAR. HE IS ABOUT 6'3 AND 200LBS. I ASKED HIM WHAT PLACE HE FINISHED AND SAID "2ND OVERALL". WTF????
I EXPLAINED THAT IT WAS A SPRINT FINISH BETWEEN TERGAT AND RAMAALA FOR FIRST AND SECOND. HE THEN BACKTRACKED AND SAID IT WAS A FEW YEARS BACK, BUT COULD NOT REMEMBER WHICH YEAR!!!!
These things are cracking me up! Nothing makes me more mad then when someone lies about running. I hate it so much!
But I work with this total jackass who makes fun of me because I shave my legs. He asked why I did it and I told him because I run and I thought it might help. And I told him that I know it doesn't help now but I don't want my hair to grow back like a damn saskwatch or something. And this duche bag told me that he ran the 800 in high school and held the Missouri state record for like 5 years or something. I ask him what his time was and like a normal liar he asks me mine. I tell him I ran a 1:57. And he was like well i ran a 180! I was like what the hell is a 180? And he said that was back when they didn't have minutes!! I was like are you kidding me? I continued to tell him that I was totally unaware that they discovered seconds before minutes! And then told him that it came out to a 3 minute half. And he was like yeah I held the state record, and then told me that I must have the world record with my 1:57! This guy is a total tool. And just the other day I come to find out that he has a belly button ring! All those times of him making fun of me for my shaved legs and he has a belly button ring!! I couldn't believe it.
How about this one. Friend said his Resident Advisor in the dorms told him he could run a 43 second 400. I found out this guy went to my high school, but it's not exactly a lie. The guy probably believed it, just didn't know any better.
this kid on my college xc team who runs 32 mins for an 8k said that he ran a 4:30 mile in h.s, but didin't qualify for states because it takes a 4:10 to qualify for states. he must have been imagining he lived in texas, but unfortuantly for him he lives in mass for the state meet wasn't even won in 4:10 that year.

Sorry, but you DO deserve to be mocked for the leg shaving. Even more abuse should be heaped upon for continuing to shave your legs (it does not come back any thicker). Your storry reads like a lover's quarell.

it really does take atleast a 4:10-4:13 to qualify for state here, unless its a slower year or region, then 4:15 would probably have a chance.

dude so many kids can run a 4:30 mile. It's not a elite time by any standards. In my league alone if you want to make it out you'll have to run soemwhere around 4:20.
The guy in this link claims that he has a 100m pr of 10 secs, but his 400m pr is 30 secs. The funny thing is people argue that he's telling the truth because they ran it too...... on a treadmill!
Dude you are an idiot! There are many runners out there who shave their legs! But thanks for you genius input!
