She says she found three food trucks in the area that serve pig offal burritos... and in the very next paragraph, we find out that the first food truck actually doesn't serve pig offal. WTF?
The other two serve only buche which it seems is pig stomach and/or esophagus (might explain the rings)... not the liver, kidney, and heart from an uncastrated boar cited in the study that produced a nandrolone positive.
I think this might explained why she used such an obscure, clumsy term as "offal" - who here had even heard that word before? They couldn't actually find any food trucks that served pig liver, kidney, or heart, so they just called buche "offal" so they could lump it in with those other organs. Similar to how they were deceitful about what kind of meat she actually ordered, and how they won't name a specific food truck. The more details they give, the easier it would be to disprove her claims.

In one case, they found (using hidden video surveillance) that workers in a basement cheese factory were using the toilet cleaning brush to stir the cheese culture in the vat.

Please link information on this important study. It will be critical to the defense of athletes who test positive from poop in their quesadillas.
That piece was high school journalism at best.
They didn't measure the specific stomach meat that could have contained the burrito, just the whole burrito, which is useless.
They didn't collect multiple samples.
They didn't test the specific meat for the drug in question.
They didn't have anyone that ate the meat take a test. Someone of about the same size as Houlihan.
It is almost as bad as the "journalism" that happens here.
McNeal deserves her ban for tampering with the documents. If she really thought they were wrong you turn them in, explain you think the dates are wrong and are checking with the doctor, and then check with the doctor.
Altering records will get you banned, or in the work world fired, no matter why you did it. The why isn't even part of the equation. It is just added after to try and change who was in the wrong.

I notice a lot of people lack reading comprehension and nuance. They also can't put themselves in someone's shoes. Brianna McNeal said the European men on the panel didn't find any of her reasoning plausible and couldn't understand it. If it's truly not plausible, how come I can follow it and understand it and Wejo, Rojo, and Jon can, too, on the podcast, even though Rojo draws a line at changing documents. (But I think knowing that is so BAD comes from being from an upper middle class background. I highly doubt that. She got the minimum ban possible for her second anti-doping rule violation, although she actually tampered with her medical records three times, not just once. An even more understanding panel couldn't really have reduced the ban any further, could it?
Last, it was CAS, meaning that she chose one of the arbiters - did she choose a European man?

even if she is cleared, Houlihan is forever tainted because of this.
She's lost her credibility and so has BTC and it's a bummer.
Basically, we have Emma Coburn's team in the USA without any allegations and then some other teams that aren't really producing olympians. This is a generalization, I know, but i trust track and field athletes like I trust tour de france athletes....
