You shouldn't paraphrase if you use quotation marks. I said it was TRIVIAL, what she did. You are tampering with my words.
I notice a lot of people lack reading comprehension and nuance. They also can't put themselves in someone's shoes. Brianna McNeal said the European men on the panel didn't find any of her reasoning plausible and couldn't understand it. If it's truly not plausible, how come I can follow it and understand it and Wejo, Rojo, and Jon can, too, on the podcast, even though Rojo draws a line at changing documents. (But I think knowing that is so BAD comes from being from an upper middle class background. Someone gave me a check once with the past year written on it, and I changed it cause I didn't want to ask them for another check. I didn't know then it was like a federal crime.)
I think those men on the board are just sheltered and well-off and older and don't know any f-ups.
And by changing the date by one day, McNeal was kind of projecting what they would be thinking. Well, it's the second day—were you still that upset? The deliberating board said she didn't seem upset on social media, as if social media isn't a front you show to the world, whether you're fine or not. THAT'S the most stupid thing I've heard from all this. I think if at least 2 women were on the board or some younger guy with a bipolar friend, things would've gone differently and that's the tragedy.
Sorry this is a sidetrack from the burrito story.
