I had no trouble getting tickets. I waited until later in the day when everyone else had given up I'm assuming.
As far as housing, there's plenty of "camping" going on in the parks and sidewalks in Eugene. Just sleep with your back to the wall/tree and keep one eye open. Otherwise, you could camp on the beach in Florence. Pretty empty space for the most part.
Marathon in Portland: Great, maybe they can get some Antifa to run the water stations and some homeless addicts to help maintain the porta-potties in the warm-up area.
Either way Governor Brownshirt will find a way to close the whole event down.
