IN Europe the poorest countries are single culture: Moldova, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Albania, Bosinia etc.
The wealthiest countries are multicultural: Germany, France, UK, etc etc.
Once again proving that this thread is lame.

Some people value not having brown people as neighbors an unbelievable amount -- what this thread is telling me.
Living in a third world country to own the libs.
Lol. Germany basically has no "brown" people as neighbors. You really need to educate yourself.

France and UK built their power on a monoculture. They've been getting weaker as they've incorporated very dissimilar peoples. They're on their way down.

Seems fine bro
In USA, the highest GDP states are all very diverse, California, Texas, New York, Florida, Illnois...........
The lowest GDP states tend to be the least diverse: The Dakotas, Montana , Alaska, Wyoming etc.
Yet another reason why this thread is lame.

Many of these charts are worth toilet paper, especially this. Take a look at UK cities 50 years ago...much nicer, much safer. Ask the average UK citizen. Making ends meet and happiness in general is way down in just the past couple of decades.

The average UK citizen wasn't alive 50 years ago so thats a bogus argument.

You need a work visa to move to Germany or any other EU country.

Great misleading chart which starts in 1270.
When you push it to the 2nd WW, it doesn't look that impressive anymore.
GDP as a measure of a population's well being...? Not really, only to a certain degree.
You could import enough low-wage people into the US to put every American out of a job and GDP would go up. Would that be a 'good' for the country?
Automation is real, compound that with outsourcing and the fact that the US government fails to put safeguards in place to protect it's domestic workforce is beyond the pale.

Tokyo looks homogeneous to uninformed outsiders because the two largest minority groups are Koreans and Chinese. (They all look the same to you.) The same goes for Kyoto. (A large Korean population which you probably did not notice.)
A real homogeneous city? Try Pyongyang. Actually, that city has some foreign diplomats. But anywhere else in North Korea, it's almost 100% Korean.
I'd guess that well under 5% of Japan's citizens are of Korean or Chinese descent, and these three groups (Chinese, Korean, Japaese) are culturally and ethnically similar. For example the largest part of the Japanese syllabary (Kanji) is based on Chinese characters. 雨 means "rain" in both Japanese and Chinese, although the pronunciation is different. Japan is one of the most ethnically homogenous countries on the planet.
You mean, like many European languages share the same words with only slightly different spelling? And like most people in Europe and "culturally and ethnically similar"? Most people in Asia probably cannot tell Flemish and Walloons apart, so I guess that would make Belgium an "ethnically homogeneous" country, right?

I also agree that Korea, Poland, and Czechoslovokia seem to be largely successful uinicultural countries.
Is this supposed to be a poorly attempted satire?
Czechoslovakia? Really? Do you know they have been two separate countries (Czechia and Slovakia) for almost three decades now? Why do you think they decided to split?

Conversely the list of poorest countries is full of single culture countries like Afghanistan, Burundi, Solomon Islands etc.
Afghanistan has a single culture?
That's like saying former Yugoslavia had a single culture. I wonder they fought against one another and split into multiple countries.

Unemployment is low. Employers can't find enough workers. And conservatives are complaining that the domestic workforce is not protected. Thats some batsheet crazy stuff.
The USA is, in part, the greatest country to have ever existed in the history of mankind because of multiculturalism.
Unfortunately, the end result of being the greatest country to have ever existed in the history of mankind is the quasi-implied obligation to indulge others shortcomings.
Anyway, Carl Lewis? The man.

Kanji is based on Chinese because Japan didn't have a written language before written Chinese was imported to create a written language. The two languages are not in the same language family at all.

I'll add that the most single most diverse elementary school (and #2, #3, etc.), middle school, and high school in the entire US are located in Anchorage.
