I think titles and medals matter a lot more then times, but these kids really got screwed due to Covid missing 3 championship opportunities. I truly believe that they would have titles between the three of them if their season was not cancelled. I think this could rival the best team ever, I agree with OP.

This is the Oregon program putting out the propaganda even though Cheserek also ran for Oregon. It it great that Cheserek won so many titles but he wouldn't be winning titles if he was on the team today because he would be getting dropped by Hocker and Teare.

man, put some respek on ches's name, dang, dude never even went for time and managed 7:40i and 13:20 in college, got under 3:50, 7:40 and near 13:00 just after leaving college when he actually started running fast races rather than just toying with college kids before blasting them in the final lap.

Honestly! The mile wasnt even his main event!
Teare probably won't run the mile or DMR at the NCAA meet even though he is the all-time fastest miler. Give him some credit. It is not his main even and he is the fastest ever.

We will see in 4 weeks when it is time to put up or shut up. After all how can they not go 1-4 with these PRs? Given the likely diluted fields (i.e. who is BYU and NAU running in any of the distance races?) they should definitely put up record points.
Pretty much undeniable that this current team is better now.

Sure Teare and Hocker have better mile records now, but in a head to head college matchup I’m taking Ches every time. He has wheels on wheels.
