edit: over a period of 6 days, saw that that was good and then rested on the 7th day (the Sabbath) There was NO evolution.

If God can make the earth revolve around the sun using gravity, why can't he use evolution to create diversity of species?

I will say that your particular church is being hypocritical- I don't believe the majority supports killing unborn babies. Trump holds conservative values which also meshes with the Catholic church. My church pastor has spoken out against abortion and it's more than just political statement. It is a more importantly a moral issue.
If a person decides to become a member in my church, it is required to profess faith in Christ. Baptism is NOT a requirement for us. However, as Jesus did the same, we as Christians should do it and follow Christ's example.

The Earth is God's footstool and He sees Earth as the center of His creation. You are confusing the term species with kinds when it comes to animals. God placed a variety within the original kinds, and other variations due to genetic alterations through breeding.
