Thank you very much LetsRun! I realize the odds of Kip ever taking Rojo or CH up on their monetary offers is low, but the very fact that he refuses to seems to be worth retaining in the records.
Most sub-elites would jump at the chance to make a guaranteed couple thousand dollars in a marathon - seems hard to believe Kip would say no if he a chance in heck of getting close to the finish in a time remotely close to his claims. Hopefully his friends realize this.

Seems hard to believe he wouldn't simply run the 26.2 miles at any pace and get "only" the $1,000 rojo offered for simply finishing a marathon. Any innocent person would jump at the chance to be in the spot light as someone who has been wronged... "hey, that's not what happened." But Kip, I don't think so. The library theory by a poster is correct. He will resurface when x amount of time has passed and deny the whole thing, even if a photo is put in front of him.
He reminds me of the Sloan character from the marathon in England. People saw him on the bus. His GPS showed he was going about 30 mph during that period. The man who finished 3rd positively knows that he was never passed by the guy, but somehow he ended up in front of him. Deny, deny, deny!
I ran a 10k race, in Michigan, years ago and was in 2nd running about 33 minutes. Somehow with a mile and a half to go, I guy shows up in front of me, about 100 yards. I put the hammer down and started yelling when I got close. His reaction: He took a sharp left and ran off the course! True story.
The guy is a joke, just like Sloan.

It's not clear, and if it is indeed Baxley, it's hard to understand the denial. It's possible to have one mentally ill character but having two involved is against the odds I would think.

It's apparent from reading the Study of kip litton blog that Kip's neighbors (matt stebbins for example and a former Amway business partner in Michigan) seem to believe the content in Mark Singer's New Yorker article and in the NPR webcast and not anything coming from the diarrhea of the mouth mysterious Kip supporting poster(s) here, so I am not sure how delusional these person or persons (Kip/dan baxley) posting here can get. It's very bizarre.
The strange thing is how there are no pictures of Kip's face anywhere. of course his race photos show him covering it all up.There is just one on his website where the person (not sure if thats the same specimen participating in the races under Kip Litton) looks like he's got a sand colored mop on his head. The headshot picture kind of reminds me of the girl in the Wendy's fast good restaurant logo. I guess it's just a coincidence Mr. Singer chose that place to meet Kip and Kip had agreed.
Ya, if you google it you'll see there are real Dan Baxleys. It's not "Brian Smith" or "Rich Rodriguez", but there are enough Dan Baxleys that Kip could get away with using the name without getting heat from the real one. btw, one of the Dan Baxleys is a "Shamanic Healing Practitioner".

If so, then I'm sure he's made up as I know people who have done the same thing which I find goofy and insecure.
They make up a person from another state who praises them about whatever it is they do...but it's not them it's the same person.

Kip's Missoula Montana performance is ridiculous. Obviously he miscalculated when he'd come back on the course as this race was at over 3100ft which means if he wanted to cheat he should have at least crossed the line In a more credible time instead of sub 2:4X near Kyle Strode. That race really F'ed him over & got the ball rolling
If he ever goes to prison, he'll have to be sequestered from the general population for his own safety. There's a moral hierarchy there, and those toward the bottom are routinely made the bitches and victims of those above them. It goes: Murderers, dealers and rapists ---> Fans of kiddie porn ---> child molesters ---> People who cheat in marathons. In general he wouldn't last five minutes before one of the chomos had a pecker up his tailpipe.
