F***ing idiots . Stop complaining about the weather everyone had to deal with it only a couple teams are from areas that normally have to train in snow or are use to snow. Everyone ran the same race I personally didn't do good but I'm not going to complain and say it's because of the weather because everyone who beat me was dealing with the exact same conditions..
the people who train in it have an advantage because they are used to it. The people who train in better conditions have an advantage because they don't have to worry about it messing with their workouts and such. It sucks either doing a tempo indoors on a 200 meter track or out in the snow with sketchy footing and 30 mph winds. Gotta use what you got and make the best of it
Anyways you can talk bad about Queens all you want. It was just a bad day for the team if you notice Ryan.C was off by 3 1/2 of his usual times, also Oscar.O who actually won the regional race had a bad day as well, so blah blah talk shit. just an off day happens

Nobody is making any kind of excuse. Adams won both and that is that but what people are saying is that the kenyans got effected the most by the cold/snow which is true. Look at the results, the Kenyans got there asses kicked, you think its just a random coincidence that almost all the kenyans in D2 ran bad on the same day (both male and female) or do you think there were some specific outside factors (weather) involved.

Anybody can run well in cold weather, its just a matter of toughing it out. Sounds to me like the Africans folded at the first sign of something that look a bit of extra mental toughness.
Also, if Simmons is such an amazing coach then why did his guys "supposedly" crack when it counted?? I honestly think that they ran pretty well for him being there for only 2 years now. I don't think they ran bad myself, I just think Crouch had the race of his life.
Wasn't Charles White a 4:07ish Miler (3:49 - 1500) last year as a high school senior, in addition to being the large school division state xc runner-up?
If so, does finishing 40th at Div II XC nats really warrant being called a "great race."
This is not meant as a cut to ACU but White is a much, much, better runner than 40th in Div II XC.
I just want to say good race to everybody on Saturday. Some people really surprised me like Western, Grand Valley and Chico, awesome job. Queens didn't do as great as we liked but it's who ever can bring it on the day. Thanks to all who supported us and came up to the race. My team is awesome and I'm proud of them all. Simmons is an awesome coach. Great job to Scottie for taking home the title as well as Adams. They have a really good program. As for the women, you all had the harder race because the weather changed drastically, so props to you. See you all in track!!!

I know Simmons and his runners got 7th after all the hype of them being a top 4 team. That is all I really need to know about them.

fun race to watch on both sides and wish all the best for track! Cold, slippery and snowy conditions for everyone, but didn't see too many runners fall or get hurt out there which is good.
what? I saw like at least five runners fall out there so I don't know what your talking about. But yes, conditions were tough.
Please don't say that the Queens hype was one random person it was quite possibly their entire team. The point is there has been a lot of guys on here talking about how awesome they were going to do and this and that but since the race they have gone in a hole or made the excuse you don't know him or they weren't ranked two years ago and now they are 7th. I agree for them to get 7th is a very good accomplishment but I hope that in the future they let their legs talk more and their mouths talk more. You can always tell what a really good team is because they know not to run their mouths.
