Somewhere in the thread I believe someone claims to have purchased the autopsy for the $47 it costs and it’s not mentioned, but even in the free summary report no additional findings are listed. I’m not interested enough to spend $47 to confirm others’ reports but I’m pretty sure that would be confirmed. If
I’m wrong and it hasn’t been done, that would be the way to do it - it would 100% be mentioned in a full report. They are very detailed.

It would just be another of Franks lies. Were I Chris Beam and publishing an article in LA Magazine, I would have included that if it were a fact that the autopsy report said his heart was fine...
Why would the autopsy look at the heart of a guy who died of blunt force trauma?
Should they look at his kidneys and liver too?

Because they might like to determine if he had a heart issue on the bridge that contributed to him falling off?
I thought everyone knew he jumped . There were witnesses and people called the police about a jumper.

He wasn't going to slog through a 4-hour marathon, so he was going to have to make up an excuse not to run. If the heart thing was legit it saved him the trouble of having to lie about some other ailment.

Totally agree, he was never going to run a legit marathon again, or at least not observed. Just find it too much of a coincidence that this heart issue popped up, so I’m just curious if it was legit or another lie.

Meza's "heart issue" was as legit as the "hip injury" that Rose Ruiz suffered four days before she was set to run in the Green Mountain Island Marathon in Vermont, a few months after Boston in 1980. She claimed that she tripped on a curb while training and needed to be taken away in an ambulance. Like Meza, Ruiz never ran another legit, observed race.

Well, it’s like every cheater who has ever been exposed here. Dave Reading, Andrew Young, Mike Rossi .... they claim they’ll come back to prove themselves but somehow, surprise, surprise never do.
Well, M.R. did try to cheat his way to a sub-20 5k, but was unsuccessful.
Maybe the professional reputation consultants hired by the family can institute a brilliant scheme of “start telling the truth.”

There’s no dispute anymore about the cheating, and let the family remember them how they want they were far more impacted by this than anyone in the marathon community. The marathon cheating isn’t news anymore, how about an investigative review of his alleged cheating in triathlons? It would be interesting to see if there are any strange happenings during those races. How do you cheat with a bike on the bike course, and did he stay on the bike during the run?
Autopsy report was like $40something? So Not even 10% the cost of the Nike Vaporfly 4%?
