What's so hard to believe? On the international womens day NATO has posted on twitter a picture of 4 Ukrainian women serving their country. They didn't notice though that the female soldier in the picture was sporting nazi memorabilia while standing in the formation. Once somebody pointed this out, they quickly deleted the post, but the internet never forgets.

I served in the military of my country and can tell you that if I was ever to wear nazi memorabilia in the formation, I would end up in the military court and not on NATOs twitter.

This, amongs many other reports, shows what kind of vibes are circulating around within Ukrainian military (and police).

As for incompetence, yes, Russia is plagued by incompetence caused by decades of corruption. But now you surely can't believe, that Russia couldn't strike Rada in Kiev if that was the objective?

I'm sure you will condemn Putin's hypocrisy regarding Nazism (nope, you supported him) and condemn Russia's invasion of Ukraine because all invasions are bad (nope, you supported it) and condemn Russian war crimes in Ukraine (nope, not until conditions are met). The same thing, that would happen if Russia had decided to really participate in response to the US invasion of Syria. It would be the end of the world as we know it.

By the way, the bombing doesn't have to be nuclear. Theoretically Russia could have launched several classic explosive missiles over Rada and it could have taken over Ukraine pretty easy after that. But again, taking over Ukraine was never the goal.

The sign you are dealing with someone who was swallowed the CIA propagnda is instead of arguing on the facts and specific views and comments, that someone simply labels you a Putin lover.

You could think that that person is a simpleton, just not very bright. But it's not really a question of intelligence as smart people can also fall for propaganda. It's just someone who has been succesfully conditoned to be susceptible to State Lies. And still clings to them despite decades of these lies being exposed (WMDs in Iraq the prime example). I think you're giving the Russian military far too much credit. Don't feel bad. People far smarter than you made the same mistake.

Just as US / NATO / Ukraine have been managing a balancing act of not forcing Russia to escalate, Russia is trying not to force US / NATO / Ukraine to escalate. Russia could be more destructive and kill even more civilians, but doing so gains them little and risks US / NATO sending more and better weapons, or imposing a no-fly zone, or deploying soldiers. Russia can't risk any of those things happening as they're already losing ground without those things happening.

Yes, Russia and Ukraine are very similar when it comes to nationalism (many countries are, including the US). Yet there have not been thousands of Ukrainian-speaking people killed in Russia by nazis, but there have been thousands of Russian-speaking people in Ukraine.

If US military starts killing Latino people in New Mexico, I surely would understand if Mexico and entire Latin America would get involved in a military conflict.

Russia is simply not as good in this kind of "warfare" against NATO, as it thought it would be. Either way, Ukraine is losing Donbas and not gonna join NATO in our lifetimes, so this will be much more of a loss for Kiev than for Moscow.

I agree though, that Russia needs a big reform of the current system. They should have foreseen and been better prepared for a military coup in Kiev. Too busy with corruption, I guess.

Again, both sides in the conflict in Eastern Ukraine have done "bad things". There have been thousands of Ukrainian speaking people killed in Ukraine by Russian supported terrorists. In this case, Russia has made the situation approximately 30 million times worse by first sending troops without acknowledging it and now invading.

If you ever decide to become an intelligent human being, you should try to make up your own mind by feeding it from different sources and taking different perspectives into consideration. Learning another language is always a good way to go. Learn Ukrainian and Russian so you can finally qualify for a debate. Maybe German, if you want to really know what's happening in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Because so far you're nothing else, but a "Klugscheisser", as we call it :)
