The way I read the independent coverage of the trial, it is pretty sickening what the cops did that day.

They can't avoid bias. They're human. They should have moved the trial but here we are. Keep in mind, they are operating under strict instructions and can only consider what's allowed.

Yes, I have been watching the trial. But unlike you I haven't been having my fingers crossed for a defence breakthrough.

I have been watching when I can, but have not been able to catch all of it. I'm just hoping enough people are watching and the transparency lessens the post trial destruction that I fear will happen no matter what the verdict is.

It's too bad that the media didn't show your video from the 8:00 - 12:00 mark. I bet hardly anyone has seen this. I remember when Armstonglivs argued that GF never resisted arrest and if that legal scholar somehow missed this key footage you can bet most of the WORLD has also not been privy to this footage, and I wonder why?

There is no way to get around the fact that George Floyd would likely still be alive today if he hadn't taken lethal doses of fentanyl and then resisted arrest after committing a felony.

If he was white, he would just be another criminal who died on drugs while resisting arrest.

No matter what you think of the manner in which George Floyd died, the fact is that he was not a great man, or even a good man, and the murals and statues in his honor are a disgrace and an embarrassment to our country for that reason.

Oh, my. the person in the front passenger seat was the one who tried to pass the fake $20 earlier - i dindt know that. The guy in white shirt actually [icked up the torn first $20 from the passenger foot well. GF didnt talk with witness suring this.

Can you restate your last two sentences?

First time i brought myself to watch this, such a needless death, but that in my opinion isn't murder, needless death yes and tragic but no way them officer's set out to kill Mr Floyd. In fact they if anything they could have used much more excessive force to get him into the vehicle in the beginning but tried calming measures. The situation got out of hand with bystanders and it goes without saying that the kneeling went on for too long. I was getting very annoyed at the lack of urgency from the paramedics on scene, disgraceful lack of urgency.

No jury should convict based on this evidence.
