Your lack of reading comprehension skills are on display once again. The judge only denied a decision because it is too close to Tuesday's runoff election. Nothing was determined for future elections. All future lawsuits will continue unimpeded.

I know that the R party is desperately trying to re-brand itself as the party of the working class. But I don't think there is any way that will work. Again, the overriding narrative is that it is the party of crazy old white people. If you don't fit at least two of those three adjectives, then you don't belong.

There are, but in generally fair elections, they do not outnumber D voters. From my discussions with former trump voters (voted for Biden in 2020), it just became so extremely and cultish within their own circles that those displaying any shred of common sense and morals are quickly shunned... that is what led to the blowout 7m vote margin for Biden. The more they hunker down on crazy the more they alienate some of their own and push them to start seeing the light. That is a reason I have no problem ridiculing tzees. I prefer they keep their crazy and pro-autocratic support on full display so we draw hard lines and force people to choose. Moderates and liberals band together when the threat is strong against our foundation.

This seems to be what happened:

1/Carlson and his people call Russia to try to arrange an interview with their idol #2, Putin. Which is fine. But:

2/ Because they are calling russian spies, the NSA recorded the calls. Because the NSA records all calls by Russian spies. That's what it does.

3/ The Russians know the calls are being recorded so they goad Tucker into saying embarrassing things about the US. This is basic spycraft. You get a media celebrity on the phone and you compromise him by recording him or her doing embarassing things. Then you hold it against them later, if, say, they run for president. They probably did the same to Trump.

4/ The Russians want to play some games and upset America again...so they leak to Tucker that the NSA was spying on him. When in reality the NSA is spying on the Russians... and Tucker spoke to the Russians and was swept up.

5/ Tucker, too late, realizes he has been compromised by Russian intelligence, and madly tries to spin the whole thing into a deep state vs. conservatives thing. Tucker is trying to redraw the issue and make the NSA the villain other than him, who probably said some deeply unamerican, pro-insurrection things. And the Russians could release the tapes at any time.

6/ The Russians win again because they have succeeded in convincing millions of GOP dopes that the NSA spies on conservatives.
