Yohan Blake's shoelace was untied on the slow-mo replay... wonder if that cost him bronze?
Always double tie your shoes kids...
DeGrasse nearly nipped Gatlin at the line.

Fans of the sport, my friend.
Executives in Beaverton, OR knashing their teeth at all the Puma exposure.
I am amazed how long it takes them to show the results on the stream. I could almost see them on the jumbotron during all the time that Bolt was walking around, but couldn't quite make them out. Finally, after Bolt walked around and climbed into the stands and spent forever hamming it up and greeting fans, and finally left the track, *then* they finally showed the results.
Full results were slow in the other events, but this was unimaginably slow.
Bolt decides to postpone interviews in order to congratulate Van Niekerk. Classy dude.
And with the heir apparent also in Puma....

Granted, Puma would LOVE to have Bolt, but, please. Nike is SO far ahead of Puma that they can afford to miss a sponsorship opportunity like Bolt.
I hope people did get to see Bolt go up Niekirk and congratulate him, really taking some time with him. That was really nice to see,
New Balance did not get their money back on Bromell... Oh well.. good move by PUMA to secure De Grasse.. that kid is clutch and continues to dominate Bromell.

rojo wrote:Yep. They were in commercial when FLanagan was dropped and now they are interviewing the Muslim fencer. I officially take back my question about whether she should have been the flagbearer. If the PC police are going to ruin my freaking marathon, I can't stand for it.
So because some NBC producer decided to go to an interview that will probably be more interesting to the average viewer, an athlete who has had to deal with intolerance is now not deserving of recognition?
Does the decision by someone at NBC now negate the intolerance she has faced?
This kind of reaction makes me think you never actually thought the fencer deserved to be flag bearer, you just thought it would be the right thing to say.
+1
Was thinking the same. Rojo had a passionate moment with the muslim woman and now NBC has followed suit he is "jealous". It goes to show that ROJO's actions were ironic. How could you pretend to be supportive of her and turn back and show hatred of her.
Trayvon won bronze in Beijing and gold in Portland. The idiotic sh@t talk is amazing.
