I lost 30 IQ points just listening to the first 10 seconds of that clip... I can only image how f*cking idiotic Jimmy sounded trying to spin Russia committing war crimes targeting power plants because they can't hit anything of military value. Even the pundits on Russian State Television are wondering if bombing power plants is a good strategy to endear Russia to the Ukrainian people - you know, because Russians and Ukrainians are one people.

Possible, but Russia made it a lot less likely by not committing the forces (and developing the tactics) to dominate before Ukraine became equipped by the west and its troops became trained by NATO. Now the Russians have spent/lost a lot of difficult to replace weapons and materials and can only dominate again in conventional terms by forcing more conscripts into the war. Yeah, that will sell well at home, especially with old rifles, poorly designed tanks and insufficient food and ammunition.

Arguably, the war still has support in Russian (because they've had plenty of propaganda saying it is going well and it is needed to eliminate Nazis (apparently Russian Nazis are good, but Ukrainian Nazis are a danger to Russia). But how will that go when people are forced to go fight in another country and some of them don't come home?

You're getting your news from somebody that LITERALLY does not know how to pronounce the places he's talking about. Now, maybe that's not a problem for you, because you're a conspiracy theory lovin' nut job that wants somebody to rant about headlines. For those of us that actually want some degree of intelligent analysis, it's a problem as it makes Jimmy Dore 100% unqualified to provide any sort of expert analysis on Ukraine (or really, any topic).
