Well what happened was Kip avoided Singer probably until Singer told him the New Yorker's running with this thing Kip whether you talk or not. So kip nervously agreed to show up at a Wendy's restaurant sitting under a picture of Dave Thomas. Kip was so nervous he never took off his jacket - didn't want sweaty armpits.

Since this is a 5000m race on the track, I would love to sit in the stands and watch Kip pull off his 17:17 (or whatever) 5k "performance" from Boston. The only question in my mind would be which method he would use:
1) run the first lap and then hide on the back stretch until the gun lap; or
2) sneak/tiptoe across the infield on every lap to shorten each 400m. (I'd vote for this b/c it would be more comical/pathetic to watch)

Sorry, but he wasn't going to be sweating at all as he knew most of what he'd be asked and was already prepared with answers, even if they didn't make sense, which they didn't.

If the questions got too tough, which they didn't, he'd simply get up and leave. Jacket on or off didn't matter as many people do that in fast food restaurants, had nothing to do with sweating.
