It's funny because that's still way faster than I thought he could run, but yea - He might need to change the name of "chasing elite" if he's coming 61st in a fun run.
Will continue to fool people. A lot of his audience think this time is elite and do not have the knowledge of what elite running times are. At the end of the day it’s about harnessing attention for him to stay relevant. That’s his currency. Was the same with his 100 mile record attempt, no way he was going to get it but needs to announce it, get attention and that all leads to $ for him.

Abbey MF Caldwell. Once again proving to be our best out and out racer. Demanding that Comms spot
Excellent Aussie results across the board
Caldwell, Hull and Hollingsworth for mine.
Aidan Murphy now 44.44
More Oceania results.
Josh Azzapardi won the 100m in 10:21 and celebrated early so had more. He might get the final comm games individual spot over Rohan at this rate assuming Lachy and Eddie do it?
Also has Jacob Despard moved to Cycling? A shame if so as am a huge fan and he's been improving nicely every year. Or is he just x training?
Thoughts on the Australian men's 1500m record going this season. Surely Myers can get it (maybe at Eugene in transit to the mile record?

Cam looks more confident in his own body everytime I see him race. I think he gets the 1500m/mile records and by quite some way.
The 5000m record will surely be lowered again. Ky is getting stronger every year, but we could also see Cam and Seth break 13 I reckon.
Yeah it’s fascinating how to see how these new guys have stepped up last year or two as the old guard have stopped or moved up distance.
God for a small country we produce a pretty amazing amount of elite distance track runners. Appreciate not quite at the regular world medals level and we haven’t cracked the marathon recently, but we always have Aussies competing (and well) in diamond league meets when plenty of other much, much bigger countries have no one.
Australia has had more than it's share of great talent. Elliot Olympic gold 1500. Ralph Doubell Olympic 800. Clayton, first under 2:12/2:11/2:10 in one go. Top ten Olympic marathon. Ron Clarke, a ton of World records, Olympic bronze 10k, top ten Olympic marathon. De Castella WC gold marathon numerous Olympic top tens Comm games golds/Moneghetti WC bronze many Olympic top tens Comm games gold, Mottram WC bronze 5k Lisa Martin (Ondieki) olympic silver, Comm golds (maybe best ever Aussie marathon runner?). I agree with the above posters, Myers to break 1500/mile. 5k to go as well, could be Robinson, or maybe Myers? Who knows?
Murphy ran 20.05 (+0.6) to win the final. Backing up his 19.88
Sorry yes for sure, I should’ve said more recently - Landy, Elliott, Clarke etc before my time.
I grew up in the Mottram era, I know it was during the period of African dominance and some of his times have been passed now, but it was extraordinary at the time seeing an aussie competing with the world’s best, whereas seems to me at least the young kids watching can see a few more Aussies competing well internationally than back when it was mainly Mottram on the track.
Seth is running 5k diamond league on Saturday. Will be interesting to see if he can get near 13 or even below. Anyone know when Myers is next racing and where?

Cam's running 800m at Puma Nitro Lange Laufnacht Karlsruhe (Germany) on 30th May.
I seem to have it in my head he's running Prefontaine.
Time / position predictions for Diamond League today?
5k: Seth
1500: Hollingsworth, Caldwell, Hull, Hall, Billings
Seth starts in 5 minutes. I reckon he breaks 13. Hopefully he paces it well.
Hull bites back and leads the Aussies in the 1500.
13:18:62 for Seth. Big Meh. A bunch of the faster guys DNF'd
ABBEY MF CALDWELL TAKES THE W - 3:57:26
Hull 5th - 3:58:97
Hall 8th - 4:00:55
Billings 11th - 4:02:00
Hollingsworth 13th - 4:06:46
Today it was Billings who went out agressive, perfect racing again by Abbey
