I'm sorry if when you read my post and you picked up a snide tone. That was not my intent. If we were talking face to face you wouldn't tell your friends I talk in a snide tone. We should just agree that we disagree and leave it at that.
There, that was easy, wasn't it.
Have a good evening Mr. Harris
What are we agreeing to disagree about? You haven't posted anything that makes enough sense for me to agree or disagree with. Do you agree with that? If not, point me to something you posted that is relevant and has some degree of sense to it.
We can agree or disagree until the cows come home. And probably then we couldn't even agree if the cows came home. What's the point of continuing this conservation?
Traitor Law and Legal Definition A person who is guilty of treason is known as a traitor. Treason is punishable by death if a traitor levies war against his state or country or supports its enemies, giving them aid and comfort. A traitor shall be convicted on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in an open court.
Who flew airplanes into the World Trade Center again? Was it Russians? No, it was Islamic extremists from Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan.
Who shot at us on the beaches of Normandy? Germans.
Who bombed us at Pearl Harbor? Japanese.
Who has nuclear weapons, 3X our population, and an aggressive leader who is furious with Nancy pelosi? China.
Russia is not America’s primary enemy. China is.
Okay, runner-up primary enemy then. They give aid and comfort to America's runner-up primary enemy. By definition, they are traitors to their country.
That doesn't make any sense. We are not at war with Russia. We may have significant differences with Russia, but we are not at war with them. As such, giving "aid and comfort" to Russia is, by definition, NOT a traitorous act.
Is spreading pro-Russian propaganda trying to influence our government to not supply Ukraine with weapons supporting Russia treason?
Yes, I believe it is. If you are doing the same this as a Russian propaganda troll, you are supporting and aiding our enemy, Russia.
Look, I despise Russia as it currently exists. I despise Putin. But to call folks who support what Russia is doing, despicable as it may be, traitors is pure nonsense.
Indeed, while folks who support Russia in all of this disgust me, folks who want to call differences of opinion acts of treason disgust me even more. More importantly, they are factually incorrect.
The law doesn’t specify we have to be at war. It just says enemy.
Sorry, but that is incredibly lame.
"7 in 10 Americans view Russia as our enemy"? Who gives a flying fvck? Probably most Americans view China as our enemy. And yet 99% of Americans buy goods made in China, thereby supporting and aiding China. So, 99% of Americans are traitors?

A country does not need to be at war with another country, as you seem to be defining “at war,” to view that country as an enemy. Russia is undoubtedly an enemy of the United States, whether Russia is at war with the United States or not. (And Russia is arguably at war with the US.)
If, as you say in another post, that opinion of mine above (which I can fully support) actually disgusts you more than the pro-Russian/anti-American affirmations you often see here, then I think you should think about adjusting your priorities and perceptions.
I'm a conservative and always have been. I want the US government to reduce unnecessary spending, maintain a balanced budget, and keep taxes low. I would like to see loopholes for big corporations eliminated.
I also think money spent on supporting Ukraine and stopping Putin is money well spent. Those who have bought into Russian propaganda are right-wingers which doesn't necessarily make them a conservative. I've also seen some left-wing extremists jumping on the Putin bandwagon, mostly because they hate the Western world and all it stands for.
Your first paragraph was unnecessary. Putin propaganda? I was stating back in November when the so-called wisest of you stated this conflict would not occur, supporting Ukraine is stupid. Big Tex? No, you can't say Big Tex. Lemming may be better. I want to see the invest portfolios of all posters who have no concern regarding Biden, Pelosi, McConnell and Schumer wrecking U.S. economy.
People working in Nazi propaganda units were tried as war criminals after WWII. Establishing the precedence that the promotion of propaganda that supports an illegal war as a war crime.
Russian trolls creating propaganda to aid the Russian war effort are war criminals.
Americans creating propaganda to aid the Russian war effort are committing treason.

Western media tells us that Ukraine is all of a sudden winning the war with a massive offensive against Russia. Is this true? Well, it was an advance for Ukr...

You blabbing the same nonsense over and over again does not make it any more true. Americans are allowed to have their own opinion and criticize their government. There is zero propaganda on this forum and most likely not a single Russian citizen. Only people from different countries with different views.
Get it through your scull: people are allowed to make up their own opinion and criticize their government.
Having enemies is for poor (and dumb) people. Rich and wealthy have partners and competition.
So if you see Russia or China as your enemy, you know where you belong :)
The US government and the lobby apparatus does incomparably much more damage to American people than Russia, China or any other country.
Yes, we know Switzerland partnered with the Nazis during WW2. That’s why everybody ignores them when they try and lecture about morality (or anything else) today.
