According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Russians have retreated to behind the Oskil river. This would mean Ukraine just liberated 8370 square kilometers. For reference, Russia had gained less than 3000 square kilometers in the last 3 months.

The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Saturday that it had removed forces from around several areas near the city of Kharkiv, according to state-run media agency TASS.
In a bulleted statement posted to Telegram, TASS reported that the Russian Defense Ministry made a number of statements regarding the war in Ukraine on Saturday.
Chiefly, the ministry said that troops had been removed from the Balakleya and Izyum regions to “step up efforts in the Donetsk” region, according to the translated message.
“The Izyum-Balakleyskaya grouping of Russian troops was rolled up in three days and transferred to the territory of the DPR,” the statement from TASS read.

You America-haters have a hundred different strawman meanings you spin on terms like "defeating," winning," "losing," etc. depending upon the post. One of you twits was actually saying Ukraine needed to be marching on Moscow for Ukraine to be considered "winning."
But the facts are what they are. Six months into Russian's invasion and attempt to occupy Ukraine we have the following -- Russian retreat from Kyiv, Russian retreat from Kharkiv, it appears there is actually a Ukrainian counter-offensive in Russian occupied territory, the Moskva is sunk, the Russian attempted Siverskyi Donets river crossing will end up being a comic and legendary failure no matter what happens in the future, thousand of Russian vehicles are destroyed, tens of thousands of Russian soldiers are dead, and the "battle lines" on a map are wherever they are right now.
Those are the facts. You certainly can state, in view of those facts, that Russia is "winning" and Ukraine is "losing" but, in context, you would be in a small single-digit percentage of reasonable people who think so. Most people with any objectivity at all (which eliminates you) see this as a miserable, inept performance by the now-exposed Russian military.
