"Saturday Night Live" poked fun at actor Jussie Smollett in the aftermath of his allegations that he was a victim of a hate crime, which police later said the "Empire" star staged.
Saturday's show featured a sketch titled "Legal Shark Tank" in which Smollett, portrayed by cast member Chris Redd, searched for a lawyer to take on his case.
"Hey everyone, you won't believe this but I was just attacked outside the studio by Donald Trump himself," Redd's Smollett told the panel of attorneys that included Alan Dershowitz, Michael Avenatti, Fox News host Jeanine Pirro and Rudy Giuliani.
"Jussie, is that true?" said Dershowitz, who was played by John Mulaney.
"Are there cameras outside?" Smollett replied. "Then no, it is not."
Smollett told the attorneys he was in search of lawyers because he "broke humanity," and he'd offer a spoiler that his character dies on the next season of "Empire" if they took his case.
"A gay black man lying about an attack," said Pirro, played by Cecily Strong. "I wrote Fox News fan fiction about this but I never thought it would come true."
Mulaney's Dershowitz added that Smollett had "everything I love in a client. You’re famous. You’re probably guilty. End of list."

Jacquelyn Smith, 54, an electrical engineer at Aberdeen Proving Ground, was stabbed to death about 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 1 at North Valley and East Chase streets, according to police.
Just days after the stabbing, Keith Smith and Valeria Smith, who also identified herself as Shavon, appeared at a tearful news conference at the scene. They blamed Jacquelyn Smith’s death on a man who approached their car after she reached out the window to give money to a woman begging in the rain with a baby. They said the man came up to the car under the guise of thanking Jacquelyn Smith, then reached into the car and snatched her necklace and pocketbook, stabbing her in the process.
“This girl actually said, ‘God bless you’ ” after the man stabbed Jacquelyn, Keith Smith said to the media in December.
Several members of Jacquelyn Smith’s family had doubted that story from the beginning, said her brother, Marcel Trisvan of Havre de Grace.
“I already know it’s Keith,” he said. Trisvan said police provided no information to the family, but detectives had increasingly been asking the family about his sister’s relationship with her husband.
“All the questioning has been specific to Keith. That kind of sums it right there,” he said. “It never made sense. I told [detectives] from the very beginning there are no suspects out there.”

Just watched the video with the interview of the husband... WOW! The ability to stand there and lie with such ease and evil, is incredible.
Cops working the Jussie Smollett case allegedly had seriously loose lips, and now the police force is launching an internal investigation. Chicago PD tells us its Chief of Detectives opened the investigation out of concerns the force was leaking like a sieve. CPD adds there's been a ton of "inaccurate" info in the media, and they want to know who's putting it out there.

Worth noting ... the Smollett case also caused upheaval at the hospital where he was treated after the alleged attack. Dozens of staffers were reportedly fired for looking at his records without authorization.
