Hell yeah. Plastic is not exactly cow skin. What a surprise.

2. The Tesla’s Autopilot design, which permitted the driver to disengage from the driving task
3. And the driver’s use of the system in ways inconsistent with guidance and warnings from the manufacturer.
Stunning pictures have emerged showing a Tesla Model S fully engulfed in flames after the car's passenger seat reportedly caught fire while the car was being driven.
The fire looks like it may be yet another case of a Tesla spontaneously combusting: "The car started to burn by itself,"and there is only a shell of the car left after a fire truck and two tanker cars extinguished the blaze.

Tesla Involved In Deadly Las Vegas Collision Continued Driving And Hit Four Nearby Pedestrians
Police in Las Vegas are investigating a Tesla that ran a red light and caused a deadly crash on Sunday. 32 year old Gabriel Haas was speeding when his Tesla hit a Honda CR-V turning left from westbound West Cheyenne Avenue at the intersection of Soft Breezes Drive in Sin City, according to CBS 8.
Don't get many Teslas in this part of the world but when I do see one up close I'm always struck by how cheap they look. Definite corner cutting when it comes to the finishing materials. But that's the leats of their worries. I believe Tesla would struggle with the incoming competition even if they were already breaking even and had a competent ceo. So when they're burning money and run by a fraudulent clown they surely have no chance.

Just horrible that Tesla, along with everything else, has to put up with highway Arson from fossilfuel freaks to destroy their inventory. Isn't enough for them to demise by short sales?
During the pursuit of a “felony vehicle” that started in Fremont and reached peak speeds of about 120 miles per hour on the highway, the officer driving the Tesla radioed in to dispatch that he might not be able to continue the chase he was leading. “I am down to six miles of battery (assuming normal speeds?) on the Tesla so I may lose it here in a sec,” Officer Jesse Hartman said.
Fremont Police Capt. Sean Washington said in a July interview that things were going well with the Tesla pilot program, which had already been involved in at least one other pursuit at that time.
“So far so good,” Washington said, noting there is usually about 40 to 50 percent battery life left after a normal shift. “We are easily able to make it through an 11-hour shift with battery power to spare.”
Shortly after Hartman called out the low juice warning, the person driving the car police were chasing began driving on the shoulder of the highway as traffic was thickening, prompting police to call off the roughly eight-minute chase at that moment for safety.

Six years in and still not profitable and they are expecting this year's third quarter sales to be lower than last year's third quarter sales, which should put the nail in the coffin. They have already run through their pent up demand and sales are starting to drop (they are no longer limited by production bottlenecks).
