Respectfully, I knew something happened at Wendy's and what happened at his office. My point was regardless of when he interviewed him, why didn't he ask him about such an obvious thing as that race with the photo of him coming out of the parking lot? How can he logically answer that? The poster was correct, he can't explain how he got from there to 9th place. He was alright that for Litton it would have been impossible. What did he do, run 5 minute pace for 4 miles and not one person saw him? What a joke this whole guy has made of his running and race results. Seriously, I'd be embarrassed beyond belief. I wish him well in life, but geez, come clean already as there's too much to explain away.

I agree with you, but I don't think Singer cared to present Litton with any more questions once it was clear that Litton was lying about everything and unable to open up about anything. Singer states in the New Yorker article that Litton wore a jacket and looked like he might be out the door at any time. And Singer had probably had enough with Littons's BS that he was eager to be on his way as well.
