Two race directors have already stood firm behind him. Aravapia and Pusey’s company already have bent the knee to stay on hoa good side. Destination probably would be too when she’s not shilling bitcoin. Money over integrity with the biggest trial race company in the states.
HOA?
And who is "she" w/regard to bitcoin?
Not sarcastic, I'm not sure what race you are referring to here, unless you specifically meant Destination Trail.
Hoa is typo for his. As Jamil and Jacob are fully supporting cam to keep in his favor
My hunch is that Cam focuses on running on his Instagram because there are more potential sponsors, affiliate links and brand deals on running than bow hunting. The number of bow hunters in the US is around 4 million and the number of runners is about 50 million. So that's 12 times the number of runners to hunters. He's sponsored by Ketone-IQ, LMNT, Speedland and Mountain Ops Supplements (which I suppose is a cross over sponsorship with hunting).
So while he may have rose to influencer status due to his hunting, I suspect a large portion of his income comes from running. I will say having multiple hobbies to focus on as an influencer is a shrewd business practice. It diversifies the income stream and insures against injury.

That is a heck of a lot of people considering how civilised we have become. In most of the states in Australia it is either banned or severley restricted, for good reason.

I will make it a point to bring up this doper every chance I get to the race directors that stand behind him. Let the bombardment begin.
Probably get the most bang for your buck with pressure on western states for allowing avaparia and others to run golden ticket races with dopers (and feed runners into the lottery via qualification races).
now we’re using identity politics to discredit sage and support cam
What a hit piece.
"Canaday positions his upbringing as rural and working-class, emphasizing that he grew up on gravel and dirt roads, leaving out that his father worked in education and his mother is a high-level scientist in healthcare, also omitting that he graduated from Cornell University."

Well that’s a flat out lie. My Mom was a stay at home Mom most of my childhood and then worked part time at the public school as an aid a few hours a week.
Ha ha she was never in “science and healthcare”.
You can ask Rojo, but Cornell considered our family so “poor” I got so much need based financial aid it was more affordable for me to go there than Oregon State (in state public school).
I also worked jobs in college during the school year to help make ends meet… while being an athlete-student. (At the campus gym, at Finger Lakes Running Co. in Ithaca, and doing odd jobs around campus filming sports games and business presentations etc.)

That's how you know it's total BS. Sage has NEVER not mentioned graduating Cornell and running a 2:16 in any post with more than 3 sentences.
It's amazing how a man of the people, who can afford to spend somewhere between $500 and $5000 on his not medically necessary, not approved for human use and therefore not reimbursable by insurance performance enhancing drugs, posts random hobby bloggers who seem to get interested in running for the first time after reading about this story. Surely that's a coincidence and not part of a fancy and expensive OR strategy meant to keep his sponsors checks hammering.

I saw elsewhere on reddit or another forum someone contacted one of the big races about this issue and they just responded tersely with "thank you for your comments" and nothing else. At least they responded!

Left a brief comment yesterday on the most recent Freetrail video about their lack of acknowledgement of the issue, and Deebo actually responded, saying:
"I'm happy to be totally uninformed on that particular controversy. I'm sure plenty of other outlets covering it. (prayer hands)"
I left a lengthier reply in response, pointing out the inconsistency of not engaging with the Cam issue when they had no problem discussing the Joyline Chepgneno bust last year. As of yet no reponse from him.
I think another lever to press on is that Dylan Bowman is on the WSER Board of Directors. Might be worth sending an email to that body pointing out the poor optics of having one of their members involved in a company (Speedland) that sponsors a guy who is blatantly, and unapologetically in violation of the race's anti-doping policy.

This is laughable - he name drops Cornell ALL the time. Like ALL the time.
