This article is 100% wrong right from the start. The AR15 is NOT the weapon of choice for mass shooters. Far far more semi auto pistols are used in mass shootings than any other weapon. The biggest school mass shooting was done by pistols. (Virginia Tech)

The idea of "Freedom" isn't the problem in the USA, it's the pervasive over the top concept of self importance that has been promoted by irresponsible people in lower education, government and the media pushing the agenda that everyone is equal therefore frustrating those of minority status whether it be race, gender or other kinds because they feel "inferiorized" (yeah, I made up the word, but it gets the message across). The solution is to get these people to stop the "pity-poor-me" attitude and just accept themselves without expecting special treatment just because they're different. I think in the old days it was called growing up.
