He will also have to have someone watch him pee in a cup and wear an ankle monitor. HILARIOUS.

5) Biden is going to win big, assuming he is alive and upright. At a minimum, he will equal his EC victory from last time, and it is possible that he will win North Carolina too. I don't think the vote totals for either Trump or Biden will be as large as last time (though I could be wrong there and don't have a strong opinion on that), but I think the gap in popular vote will be larger. I predict Biden will have 10 million more votes than Trump.

6) In 2025 (which MIGHT spill over into 2026), Trump will be found guilty in his other three cases, and by the time he's a third time felon, he WILL have to go to prison. It could happen as early as his second conviction, but I think it's more likely by the third. The fourth conviction will just keep him in prison longer.

7) Joe Biden will not pardon Trump, but if Trump is still in prison when a Republican enters the White House again, that President will PROBABLY pardon Trump...but that's no guarantee. The MAAGA movement will finally die once Trump loses again, and the Republican Party will have lots of repairing to do, and part of that repairing will be to distance itself from the Trump era.

8) Trump lackeys Mark Meadows, Boris Epshteyn, Jenna Ellis, Christina Bobb, and more will spend time in prison.

One last HILARIOUS note: Talking head fools on conservative media predicted a big stock market drop the day after Trump was convicted. What happened? The Dow went up over 500 points for its biggest day of 2024. HILARIOUS and shows what cultists these Trumper losers are.

2) When you frame lowered prices through the lens of "loss leaders," the lowered prices look different. Fast food chains don't have $1 menu's anymore, because they lost too much money on them.

3) You don't support Trump, so I'm skeptical of your assessment of how Trump supporters think and feel. Nobody knows how the verdict will effect the election. That includes you, and it includes me.

4) Wake me when they take away Trump's golf clubs. He's going to appeal the ruling, so wake me when that outcome is known, too.

5) We finally agree on something, as I also predict a Biden victory.

1) My economy is MUCH rosier than the average American because I invested early and heavily since 1989. I made my situation that others could have also done.

2) Prices go up over time $1 menus couldn't last forever. They had them until they couldn't anymore. Fair.

3) Polls tell us what Trump voters and Independents are thinking about Trump's felonies. Logic tells us that these polls are likely close to reality. Independents are filled with people who don't follow politics closely, and when given a choice between a felon and not a felon, many more of them will chose the not a felon over the felon. Most Republicans should just stay home anyway since Democrats have figured out how to steal an election without leaving a trace. I mean, amirite? Why wouldn't we do it again?

4) Meh. He can not own a gun. He can't leave the country. He IS going to be told what to do. His appeals will go nowhere other than maybe a handful get tossed for some reason. Yes, Trump's threat of destroying our Democratic Republic will be over, but justice needs to ring loud and clear here that we can not allow this kind of criminal behavior from a President/former President ever again. His punishment matters. I don't think these trials will be dragged out forever.

No, I did not get richer off of the trial. The market just happened to go up a lot the day after Trump was found guilty of 34 felonies. The only reason I mentioned it is because right-wing media warned that the markets would tank if he was found guilty. BS. If they follow the markets they should have known otherwise. Markets don't like uncertainty. They don't even necessarily care what certain results are (who is elected President of the US for example)...they just want to know the outcome. Oh, and I have a lot of empathy for people who are not as well off as I am...that's why I'm a Democrat, and that's why I tip big. At the same time though, I didn't have anything handed to me. I worked a second job teaching at night in the early years, and I made sure to always be investing to matter what.

So what can be done? It's really up to us voters to go out there and vote in record numbers, noting even that may not be enough. I see a worrying trend of democrats I know who seem to be sleepwalking into defeat. I'm hearing defeatist comments, drawing equivalence between Rs and Ds, and they are also falling for the overblown economy concerns even if they can't disagree that Trump would be a total reckless disaster.

One of the candidates is openly advocating for ending democracy. Don't allow yourself to be numb to that. If this doesn't motivate enough Ds, we are indeed doomed.
