Hard to take you seriously when you flip flop from - New York is filled with libtards, Trump can't get a fair trial, to he has YUGE support in New York.
Which is it? I guess the jury isn't biased anymore, huh?
The E Jean Carroll trial is literal proof that Trump can't get a fair trial in NYC.
The Letitia James trial is literal proof that Trump can't get a fair trial in NYC.
There's a 99.999% chance the jury is hopelessly biased. Liberals will lie to get on a jury. Conservatives won't.

So you’re saying the Bronx rally wasn’t really significant.

Weird. Trump says he is flipping NY. It is now M@ga territory per Trump.
And he did have those indicted murderous rappers endorse him. He is gangsta!

Sure, conservatives never lie. Says the guy that’s been caught lying hundreds of times on this forum.
San Diego has widespread homelessness, drug addicts everywhere, and tons of illegals sneaking into their city, and THEY ARE CRACKING DOWN ON BEACH SIDE YOGA CLASSES. YOU Libs crack me up.
San Diego faces anger, legal action after cracking down on beachside yoga classes
Yoga instructor Steve Hubbard joined "Jesse Watters Primetime" to discuss the city's crackdown on beachside yoga classes despite the other issues facing the city.

I don’t recall a lie, maybe you can point one out? I do know that Winston is not the type of man to shower with his 13yr old daughter, which is really a red line for most men, certainly decent ones.
We have a couple of Trumpers kidding themselves that Trump is a man of Peace. Wars will cease!
But then they come here and think we’re as dumb as they are
Trump has no problem with war. But with this caveat. We must be able to steal from the country we bomb.
Trump: “We bombed the hell out of the place and we leave. You know, in the old days to the victor belong the spoils. We don't do that. We bombed the hell out of everyone. Then we come back home. It's so sick.”

This is what History confirms, not any wishful thinking. Trump is the master of peace, whether that fact pleases you or not, is your issue to deal with. Trump wrote the book.

The Economist article was weird because it has the reputation of being a smart publication and I felt the article was written pretty haphazardly, but while the article itself was stupid, the underlying data was well researched and that is what I wanted to debunk by going into the inflation numbers. The overall argument is that's it's tougher financially for people who started their careers recently who don't already own a home (compared to older generations), which you seem to agree with. Did you end up checking out the paper? Second link.
Like homophobia, transphobia isn't a real phobia. I think it's insulting to say "Young people have it harder in some ways because they're depressed and trans." While that's probably true, it's basically saying being transgender sucks and I think that's a weird and offensive thing to flippantly declare in an article like this. It's fine to argue that trans people might have it harder generally if that's what you're studying and you handle the topic with the grace it deserves. In any case, not what this whole thing is about. Not a hill I'd die on.
I didn't receive 30k for the condo. My fiancé did before we met, and this was a few years ago not the 70s. That and the other anecdotes were to support the idea that homeownership rates of young people might be affected by an increasing willingness of parents to support them. I wasn't alive in the 70s and I admit that I don't know if this was commonplace then and that you can't find data on something like that. At least I couldn't.
You hear all sorts of stories about people putting themselves through college in the 70s and 80s working summer jobs. You hear stories about families being raised on the single income of a factory worker. Stuff that would be nearly impossible now, but then someone links you this article that shows you that actually you're wrong and you actually have it better and this economic situation you're seeing and feeling is all in your head because you're a young person and young people always feel this way. That's why I wanted to dive into this as much as I did. Is it all in my head? Is this financial hardship imagined? Am I just a complaining young person who doesn't understand how great the economy is? The conclusion I've come to and the argument I make is no, it's not imagined. Things were easier 50 years ago. Inflation is wildly underreported.
So Atlantic City. I think the song is saying that it's a competitive world and you have to do everything you can to get ahead or at least not fall behind. Stay a step ahead of a crumbling culture and economy? Something like that? You don't have to explain it. I like Bruce a lot though.
Promise you I will read the article, as I'm a huge fan of the Economist. They include some occasional humor in their perspective, which is rare on the left, at least from my point of view.
Appreciated your very deep dive into the stats, and I think we are on the same page that the economic outlook today isn't as rosy as portrayed. Here is Paul Krugman, who is way smarter than I am talking about a "vibecession:"
Ok..yeah...let's see what happens in November, because I completely understand how anyone who is doing well thinks those who are struggling might mistake their genuine outrage for delusion. The line from "Atlantic City" that resonates most deeply viz our current climate is the one about "Winners and losers/And don't get caught on the wrong side of that line..."
Millennials are a weird group, and it's hard to talk them when you aren't one (like both of us, I assume). Here is some perspective, fwiw...currently reading Johnathon Haidt's "The Anxious Generation" in which said author argues that smart phones and social media have "rewired" millennial brains to the point of psychological crises. Seen several potshots at Haidt's thesis (NY Times called it "argument from ignorance" aka "if the phones and Facebook aren't to blame, what is?")...but I think that pushback misses the meatier part of Haidt's argument (which is itself missing the rapidly changing norms surrounding mental healthcare, by my own account). Haidt says kids are meant to go out and play, to experience some danger, and that we are, in essence, overprotective of kids in the real world, while being underprotective virtually. The first part of that claim makes so much sense it makes my head hurt: want to be happy? Put away your phone. Go outside and talk to people. Polish up those social skills, and enjoy life without screens. I think this applies at any age...so I'm going to follow my his advice (and read the article later).
And congrats on your engagement! Genuinely happy for you, man.
...Biden slurred and dropped words throughout the speech...."The fall he a tied, that fall he decided, look — I shouldn't get into this, probably.".....Never forget that America is the strongest when we lead not only by the example of our power but the power of our example," he said. Then no one clapped, and that apparently irked him. "You can clap for that," he groused.

You mean same Winston/Adolt that lied about his age, his job, his advanced degree, his military service, that Winston? The guy that also posts as that imbecile Noyankee to agree with himself?

History confirms that we were in active war during Trump’s entire presidency. He didn’t stop any of them.

He made no effort to stop them. ISIS still exists.
