I'm torn on this. Most memes are mean and appeal to the bad nature of most people's character. But, John Fetterman did a good job of using them to make Mehmet Oz look old and out-of-touch. Then again, it did not go so well for Elizabeth Warren and her "Meme Team."

I dont claim to have the answers to this one. A big reason why we are in this situation is because the for profit business model of News is broken. The last bastion of honest news is local news and they can't turn a profit. This means all of us. Left and Right find ourselves in news silos and echo chambers. Truth that everyone can agree to doesn't exist. Everyone spin is just as valid as others
So along comes Trump and his daily, hot mess, insanity is a ratings winner for all news outlets. Fox tried to move beyond Trump after he lost and they quickly learned that OAN would gladly take their market. So Fox switched back to being pro trump and pumping the big lie again.
Today we have all news outlets determined to provide validity to Trump as a normal President. And the reason isn't bias. It is profit.
