Mike Rossi hits "rock bottom", vows to "become a better person" after being arrested for "simple assault" of woman

It wasn't "years", he's accused of punching a woman "weeks" ago. Mike Rossi promoted himself as a public figure, he wanted and received attention. Unfortunate he is a cheater and a liar and he keeps getting arrested. It's not like he apologized and disappeared from view, the exact opposite. Mike Rossi is the one who couldn't let it go and he aggressively went after anyone who wouldn't buy into his lies. He then cheated a second time - and stupidly again drew attention to himself. And on and on and on. He keeps bringing the attention on himself through his actions. Don't blame the people here.

Mike Rossi is to the running world about 7 steps down form a D-list celebrity, but, he is nonetheless still notorious. As long as he keeps getting arrested or cheating at races people will talk about him. If you want people to stop talking about Mike there is only one person you need to talk to - go talk to Mike. It's an easy formula to have people stop talking about him, he just needs to man up, but, alas, we're talking about Mike who clearly hasn't spent a single day of his life being a man and I doubt he ever will.

Yeah, sorry Mr Corleone, you deserve better than to be associated with someone like Rossi.

It is interesting to compare the lack of understanding that the only way that people stop talking about this is for Rossi to admit the cheating with the lack of understanding that telling people to stop discussing this here is likely to have the opposite effect.

This is what is curious to us too. But moving along.....

We are working to verify the "image" in this pic that is "in the image of people running on the course" according to Mike Rossi's statement to his lawyer. There are two individuals that are highly unusual upon forensic inspection and facial/obj rec is having trouble identifying them. We feel confident they will be revealed so we can make this statement now.

Our assessment at this time is they have been digitally altered and those doing the "running" is not the form that would be expected from Mike's other pictures and video (knock-kneed).

Be patient. Our delay might be Rossi's gain. We are okay with that and suggest he get ahead of this, or maybe someone close to him will go public to minimize the effect.

Actually I do have a life but what I also have is a maniac in the neighborhood who continues to threaten me. He knows it, his wife knows it, the whole community knows it! As long as he keeps it up I guess I'll be here, as will everyone else in his life. He knows how to stop everything yet he refuses to do so. Please tell me again why you want others to stop while he continues. Seems like you have a personal reason.

I'm in the camp that he cheated too, duh! But I also agree that you've got nothing in terms of pictures and a lot of you justify the time you spend on here with responses like a 2nd grader, or worse. Time to move on and let the courts deal with what did and didn't happen. In the end, they make the decision anyways, not you guys.

Rossi, you mean like if you had proof, as in photos, training logs, etc that you ran 26.2 miles rather than 0.2 miles at Via you would show it and clear your so that you no longer have to deny what your name is, use anonymous names here and elsewhere, cloak yourself as a female? If you really ran VIA why don't you sue everyone who has that you did not? Hmmmmm

So are you saying that you have proof that no one contacted the police as a result of threats on the last thread? The thread that was shut down and IP addresses preserved because of those threats. When confronted with anonymous threats the first logical step is to contact the police. I didn't name Mr Rossi as the person who made the threats, you did.

A by now fairly routine method to try to have a thread shut down is to go to somewhere with a wireless hotspot, make anonymous threats against yourself then complain bitterly that people are making threats against you.

For some reason this incredibly simple idea seems to fool people most of the time.

C.E.R. - are you confirming that your groom did cheat at VIA and the Turkey Trot and that you know it and you know that he physically was and is incapable of running the time of 3:11? Are you confirming he has been and continues to lie? The one issue you are sorely mistaken about is that there is evidence...it is called the lack of photos, not one single photo on the course except at the finish, where he ran his 0.2 miles.
