Yeah, it made the races on the women's side a bit anticlimactic. In the 10k Abrah ran for second and elected not to go with her, which was probably a good call given she missed much of indoor and probably didn't have the base to hang with Regan. Weigel gave it a shot in the 5 for a bit but ended up in no mans land. Girl from Swarthmore looked strong running in second after winning the 15, might have had a shot had she been fresh. Impressed with the pace that the 15 went out in, kind of wish the men's side had gone out in a pace that could have netted some top 10 performances. Girl from Ohio Northern waxed the field in the 8, interested to see how low she can go by the end. Though, the Diii record comes with the caveat that Cazzola did it with a 1500 final/prelim, 800 prelim, and a TOUGH 5k coming right after in the hot Deleware, Ohio sun. Though I guess she was like 28 at the time so it's kind of a wash.
Also, I'm hoping they don't have the Championships in Iowa for a long time.
