and Katir can't even get into the semi-finals. This dude underperforms so much at championships when he has really good PBs

JOSH THOMPSON FOR BRONZE, YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST.
Also, for some reason, I picked Olli Hoare for bronze and I don't know why I did that and tried to change it right before the first heat but it was too late. Kerr looks primed for a medal again.
6 time qualifiers so dumb…did that entire second heat get in now? Dumb.
Geez Thompson looks skinny. Like his face looks unhealthy. I can’t be the only one who noticed that.
That was the best late move I've ever seen. Wonder what would've happened if he hadn't seen that opening, but he took GREAT advantage of it.
That was a nice surge and very smooth transition to inside lane by Thompson. That move gave me a little more confidence that he can get into the final.
Kerr feelin froggy

"buku" lol, that was hilarious.
1) why don’t they just go to the arms earlier and run faster? Seriously, what is this obsession with “going to the arms”?
2) time gaps and live tracking: whoever thought of this has no experience in track and field. How #*#@! hard is it just to provide split times and final times? After each race we have to remember the final winning time (because it quickly is removed from the screen) and add the time gap to know the time for each runner. Such a bad idea.
The Gong…wow
Kerr-mit? Can't wait to see him and Ollie race

Sorry but he looked like a clown there.

Results show him with the last big Q
Can we get Jonathan Gault to tell Kerr he looks like a wanker in those sunglasses? Why else do we need him trackside?
Thompson is lucky, that he was in the slow. If he was in Jackob’s heat, he wouldn’t have qualified. He doesn’t even have the worlds qualification time (he qualified b/c of his ranking). He is a 3:38 runner

Or, just calm your teets for a minute and wait for them to announce the results.
I can't believe I just switched to the NBC feed so I can hear Kara's commentary.

Given his track record, maybe it’s a clue that very successful racers take the prelims very seriously and enjoy successes at least for a moment before focusing on the next round.

Just like Centro was "lucky" when he won an Olympic gold. It's racing buddy.
