I love these polls that ask questions which the answers are objective and data-driven... really shows how much more of a factor perception is than actual facts.
Susceptibility to propaganda is terrible and we are all on the spectrum of that (clearly trump humpers are on the extreme end), but another unfortunate feature of humans is that we find problems and amplify existing ones when things are good. When we had trump there was a sense of urgency of removing the poison, but now after the economy has settled and we have "boring" Biden, people are fussing about nothingburgers in comparison.
Biologists reason that this is an evolutionary feature - move goalposts quickly and think in terms of the here and now, even if you are equipped with insightful knowledge and experience of the past. We all do it, but some of us actively deploy wisdom even when it may be against our intuition. Too many others are living by the knee jerk reaction code of the here and now and have zero broader perspective. They are being told things are awful and their fragile emotional states are being exploited to make them feel like the country and world are falling apart. Apparently this biological feature is to save brainpower - so perhaps our species is really doomed to keep making the same mistakes and ironically our survival instincts and evolutionary state will actually end us.
The fascinating thing is the delta between the objective, undeniable evidence of impressive human intelligence - science, engineering, creativity, etc. - and the INCREDIBLE day-to-day stupidity of members of the same species. And in many cases, THE SAME people.
Some Trumper engineer who goes to work every day pushing back the frontiers of our understanding and abilities regarding the physical world (that offers no hints or explanations). But then goes home and believes the most stupid and/or clearly dishonest claims and conspiracies.
Incredible.
....and then moving over to the character side, the Trumper engineer FATHER who's raising his kids to be EVERYTHING that Trump isn't. He would view himself as a failure if they turned out 1/100th as bad as Trump. But yet STILL wants that guy to be the most powerful person in the world.

I remember back in 2016 trying to reason with a Republican. We went through all the obvious falsehoods about HRC and Obama they truly believed. Got nowhere of course - she just said 'you have your view I have mine.' And it's gotten worse since then as Russia and China have improved their 'destroy the West' propaganda programs on social media.
